The Bleeding Heart Restaurant - Bleeding Heart Yard off Greville Street, EC1. At southern end of Hatton Garden diamond district, near clubs of Clerkenwell. Close to: Smithfield Meat Market, Museum of London, Lincoln's Inn and British Museum.
EXTREMELY ROMANTIC - good for proposal or special evening out, but also excellent for business lunches. French cuisine, absolutely fantastic... there is a restaurant, tavern and bistro, all on Bleeding Heart Yard, a real taste of olde worlde London featured in "Little Dorrit" by Charles Dickens. Saffron Hill, where Fagin's Lair was located, is just a few yards away! Splurgy restaurant, don't take the kids. This would be a great place to go for a really un-touristy, romantic or other special occasion meal.
