The Spa Valley Railway is a 100% volunteer run heritage railway operating preserved Steam and Heritage Diesel trains over 5 miles of line from Eridge to Tunbridge Wells, with intermediate stations at High Rocks and Groombridge.

Trains run every weekend from mid March until early November, plus the Christmas period.

Sunday dinner trains run at least once a month, and Fish & Chip specials are a regular attraction - advance booking for both is essential.  There is also a bar on most services so you can sit and enjoy the views with a drink in your hand at any time, or enjoy a cream tea at your table !

Special events include childrens events such as A Day out with Thomas, Peppa Pig, Mike the Knight and Fireman Sam, plus events more for the grown ups such as the 40's event and a 3 day beer festival.  There is also a diesel gala, bus rally and more.

Unlike many heritage lines there are things to do if you leave the trains at any of the stations, so break your journey and make a day of it.  Enjoy the Pantiles at Tunbridge Wells, climbing the High Rocks at the station of the same name, the historic village of Groombridge with Groombridge Place and the Enchanted forest, or simply enjoy the country walks from or between the stations.
