Virgin Gorda is not just for couples and honeymooners.   Young children and teens can have a blast here too. If your kids love water than this is the place.   There are plenty of water activities from snorkeling to sailing that the whole family can enjoy.   The beautiful sandy beaches are perfect for swimming or just soaking up some sun.
Go swimming or snorkeling among the boulders at the Baths . Let the kids discover the sea life hiding in the tide pools while enjoying the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean.   Or have a leisure swim and enjoy the beautiful white sand of the beach at Savannah Bay .
There are plenty of hiking trails on the island as well.  Spend an afternoon hiking up Gorda Peak , the highsest point on the island.  The views are worth it.  Enjoy the flora and fauna at Trail of Palms or Biras Creek Trail .  You'll be sure to run into tree frogs, iguana and some lovely tropical plants.

Older teens that are experienced divers can check out the marine life that has made a home in the Wreck of the Chikuzen.  This fascinating dive site is really for experienced divers only.  Call one of the local charter services to see when the next trip is scheduled.

And don't miss a trip to the Bitter End Yacht Club .   There are restaurants, shops and a marina where you can learn to sail at Nick Trotter's Sailing School.
