Travelers will find that whilst Antigua has enough nightlife to keep them entertained it's not a clubbing hotspot - with much of the available entertainment centred within resorts rather than in town or elsewhere.
There is a large casino (Kings) in St Johns, which is a NO SMOKING facility, offers a range of table games-15 and the newest video slot machines--300.
The main party of the week is on Sunday night at Shirley Heights (above English Harbour), where visitors, locals and even well-known celebrities get together to enjoy afternoon steel band and bbq, followed by local bands and dancing. Especially popular during the yachting season.
There are also regular fetes and organised events, some of them on an 'all you can drink' basis, with live and dj entertainment.
