Dickenson Bay is located on the North side of Antigua looking out over the Caribbean Sea. There are hotels running along the entire length of the beach including Rex Halcyon Cove, the huge Sandals complex, Antigua Village (timeshare / condos) & Siboney Beach Resort. There are a number of beach bars and restaurants. It's without question the busiest beach on Antigua, and offers more in terms of activities than any other, including water sports (often free to resort guests), Jet skis and more. It's also a major pickup point for most of Antigua's water based tours.
The beach is relatively long, and good for walking, though it can become narrow during the winter months. The water is rarely rough. There are a number of designated swimming areas, to keep swimmers safe from boats and jetskis. In common with all the busier beaches, there are beach vendors both in the small 'mall' as well as others walking the beach. If you're not interested, a polite 'no thank you' is all that's needed.
