Habu is a fishing port on the southern side of Oshima. There are about four restaurants, a couple of bars and several hotels. You rarely see anybody on the street, everybody drive cars, like in a US village. There is an air of sleepy, pacific island. You can snorkle among the lava blocks, which was like swimming inside a tropical aquarium. There is also a black sand beach. The water is surprisingly cold, some snorklers wear wetsuits.
