feels nice to be back in the arctic circle and away from the city - hello from finnish lapland✌🏼ive arrived just days before the end of winter season so its just me and perhaps 15 other people staying at the resort, with me being the only guest staying in a glass igloo at the west village. feels pretty liberating to change out in the “open”. its a chilly 6 degrees outside, and a-hot-as-fuck 20 degrees inside.
We chose FINLAND as our number one travel destination for 2019! It was ranked by the United Nations as the happiest country in the world, and with this food, culture, and scenery it's not hard to see why! Would you like to visit Finland?
This is it, my most favourite “natural phenomenon” photo EVER taken. This is the aurora! The aurora can be a challenging subject to shoot as you need enough light to take the picture (apart from the swirling light show, the night is very dark) but not too long of an exposure as to blur the dancing lines. This image is far from perfect and you can clearly see that I’ve blown out the light from behind the tree on the left. Yet, despite this, it remains a fave!
