Wrecks to Reef diving | Papua New Guinea
Pack your wetsuit and regulator and prepare to check off a stunning new dive destination in Milne Bay’s underwater wonderland. Characterised by dramatic drop-offs, clefts and overhangs, diving around the wreckage left behind from WWII is a justifiable draw card for many dive enthusiasts. You can expect comfort aboard one of the liveaboard dive boats based out of Alotau. The 60-foot MV Chertan can comfortably accommodate up to 14 divers. The MV Telita was Papua New Guinea's first live-aboard dive boat and designed specifically for the local sites. The resident experts, Milne Bay Marine Charters, also offer terrific day trips. Discover Papua New Guinea
- By Visit Papua New GuineaBy: Dylan John Traveling to PNG was something I never thought I'd do. It was a country I barely knew anything about and I'd heard quite a few negative rumors about the country and the people (which the beginning part of this video symbolizes). Once we were traveling in Papua New Guinea however, we were flooded with vibrant and unique cultures and customs and literally everyone was willing to help us out. And I mean EVERYONE. I have NEVER felt so welcome in any country I've ever visited. EVER.
