ola! buenos dias! greetings from the train graveyard in uyuni, bolivia!🖖🏼 i climbed up to the roof of a train for the very first time. harrowing, considering my fear of heights. also i was told that butch cassidy and the sundance kid escaped to bolivia in the 30s, robbed a train and died in a shoot out with bolivian soldiers. true or not tis a great story!
just casually strolling into another dimension.. . uyuni salt flats, bolivia. ticked another one off my bucket list. visiting the salt flats during the rainy season gets you this huge natural mirror that reflects the sky! my guide insisted on shooting a “fun video” with my iphone. all he said to me was “walk to the left. freestyle and be creative.” half a minute later, i got this. stunning but still didnt do justice to the unboliviable landscape! 🖤 . track: “waving palms” by eddie vedder

this geothermal field at altitude of 5000m was littered with “no entry” signs, but my guide took my hand and insisted i took a walk through these steam pools of boiling mud sputtering out of them. there were no marked paths but he said id be fine if i followed his footsteps. i look calm in this pic but i was really shitting my pants. the surface was so soft, slippery, and volatile that i feared my death with every step. still tho. glad i did it. seriously an out of this world experience.🤙🏼
