Hadn't been to this Kirkland restaurant for a while, so we went and had the taster's menu which allowed us to sample a wide variety of dishes. Starter soups and imperial rolls were good, as were the ribs and hunan dumplings. However, the portion of the latter was disappointing (only 2 per person), so we ordered more, but they never came. As for the mains, we had chicken, duck, beef, pork, vegetable, noodle and seafood Szechuan dishes and all were good, if not necessarily spectacular. One observation was that many of the dishes tasted very similar, regardless of the ingredients, so that you sometimes weren't sure exactly what you were eating. Spiciness often was the main distinction between the sauces. Nevertheless it was all good, and good value for the price. Service was friendly and attentive except for the dumpling oversight.
