“Hold on to your food!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

The food was ok at best. Extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Also you had to keep your eyes on your plates because the waitress would contiually sneek up behind you and grab your plate and take it away when you weren't even finished. Half of the people at the table only got one bite of their dessert. If you stopped eating to talk with someone else, the waitress would quietly come around and take off with your food. I think she must have been in a hurry to leave for the night! Totally UNACCEPTABLE!
We will not be going back again.

“DELICIOUS”

The food was great (veal & chicken parm), the service fast and friendly and Sam the owner prepared our special wishes with flair. It was a great evening. Highly recommended.

“Best Place To Eat in Lachute”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2012

When I lived in Lachute I enjoyed the great food and hospitality of this restaurant. It was always my first choice if i had a business lunch with clients of my Outfitting busness or a special evening out with family and friends, our family celebrated many birthdays and other special occasions here and were never disappointed.
Sam , the owner is always there to greet you at the door and makes a point to check your table if everything is to your satisfaction.
This not only makes you feel welcome , but you know he takes great pride in his service , Something that is lacking in most restaurants today.
I now live in Ontario but when I am in Lachute at meal time I can assure you this is where you will find me.

“Resto with Outdoor Seating”

There is a nice terrace, the service is good and they offer an affordable lunch menu. The service is friendly too. Until recently it was the only "fine cuisine" spot in Lachute.

“Over-priced and mediocre - nothing is "fine" about the cuisine”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

Given the prices posted on the menus and the restaurant's claim to "fine dining", we expected far more than what we actually received.

The caesar salad came with processed 'bacon bits" and the dressing tasted like it came from a bottle. The pasta was not homemade - it was the dry kind you find in the supermarket aisle. The pasta sauce was heavily flavoured with allspice, the type of sauce found in Quebec fast food restaurants. The chicken and veal cutlets were sadly over-cooked and under-seasoned. Parmesan cheese out of a shaker bottle .... Nothing about this restaurant is authentic or Italian.
