The food quality here is always very good and consistent.
Restaurant is always busy so it's good to go early otherwise it can get cramped.
The ribs are fall off the bone and always large portions, so be prepared to share or take home a doggy bag.

A large group. And the service was good, friendly and attentive. However, the food was way too expensive for the poor quality. My prime rib was cooked the way I like it, but it was flavourless except for the peppery taste. The gigantic mound of mashed potatoes were horrible and the side gravy and auto jus were weird tasting. The Caesar salad tasted good to me but my husband thought it had a bitter flavourless. The only part of the meal unanimously good was the wine..a Chilean shiraz. I wouldn't go back.

Excellent meal at the Baton in Thornhill. I have eaten at the Baton Rouge downtown and found the food mediocre; the Baton in Thornhill is far superior. We started with the Mississippi Delta Calamari, the pieces of squid where cut very large but surprisingly they were tender, not chewy. The Louisiana Spinach dip is creamy and delicious! The portions for both were large enough for sharing. For the entree, I had steak that was expertly seasoned and tender. My daughter had Pasta Primavera; Alfredo sauces can be bland when prepared incorrectly, this one is wonderful. The quality of the food is as good as the Keg; but at the Baton they offer a greater variety at a more reasonable price. The service was fast and attentive. It was busy on a Saturday night so I suggest making a reservation.

The atmosphere was awesome, food is always great
you can sit on the bar and enjoy few drinks along with their appetizers,
