“A lovely place to stay!”
Reviewed June 19, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My partner and I stayed at Annagap Cottage for two weeks. It was love at first sight when we saw the cottage and its surrounding. It offered all, we were wishing for: it is a quiet base set in the middleof a beautiful landscape with really fantastic views.

The owner - Margaret - greeted us with the keys and a short "tour" through the cottage and her garden in which the cottage is located and which can be used by guests, too. Margaret and John are so lovely and welcoming people. They always showed true Irish hospitality to us and whenever we needed anything, they happily helped us. We also enjoyed the little smalltalk with them whenever we saw them around, but if you want to be on your own, do not worry, you will hardly know that they were there.

Inch Beach is less than ten minutes away by car and the nearest bigger town - Dingel - is only 20 kilometres away. 'The South Pole', a pub in the village can be reached by a five minute walk from the cottage.

For us, the cottage was the excellent base to explore the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. We always were glad to come back in the evenings and after a few days it almost feels like coming home.

We would definitly come back again and we recommend this perfect little cottage. We can not fault anything about it or its lovely owners and their cute dog and cat.

“A perfect stay at Annagap Cottage”
Reviewed May 4, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I have recently come back from a four night stay at this cottage and I throughly enjoyed my whole stay here. Margaret who owns the cottage is very friendly and accommodating. The cottage itself was lovely, and so were the views from around there.

It is in a perfect location, and I would definitely recommend a stay here to my friends & family.

“Tá an teachín GEM beag (A little gem)”
Reviewed October 1, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This is a charming cottage set in an excellent location in Annascaul Village. A quiet base below the rolling hills with beautiful views. Just a two minute walk to ‘The South Pole Inn’, home of Tom Crean, any fellow explorers should check this place out. The pub serves great food too. This little gem of a home is a perfect base for touring Dingle and the Ring of Kerry etc. Inch beach is a short drive away or if you prefer you can just walk to Annascaul Lake and up into the mountains and take in the wonderful views.

The owners, John and Margaret are lovely and welcoming, showing true Irish hospitality. If you need anything or want to tap into their knowledge of the area, they will happily assist. However, if it is pure solitude you crave, then they are non-intrusive and you would hardly know there was anyone else around. If you have young children, then they will probably love playing with the cat and dog in the spacious garden

I would definitely recommend this perfect little home from home. I cannot fault it or its lovely owners.

“Just the very best holiday home ......”
Reviewed July 7, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

My partner and I stayed at Annagap Cottage for a week. From the minute we drove in the gate I knew it was exactly what I had hoped for. A quiet base set in the middle of rolling hills with wonderful views. Margaret greeted us with the keys and homemade scones. The cottage is in her and John's garden but don't let this be a worry as they are lovely people and we hardly knew they were there. Wonderful Inch Beach is less than ten minutes away by car and it is a perfect base from which to explore the Dingle Peninsula. There is a walk from behind the cottage to Annascaul Lake and up into the mountains - we walked for five hours and hardly met a soul. We loved 'The South Pole', a pub in the village (three minute walk from the cottage) where we chatted to locals and ate good food. If you want a spotlessly clean, quiet, very comfortable base from which to see the sights of this beautiful part of Co Kerry, Annagap Cottage is the place for you.

“Well positioned charming cottage”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed for 1 week in july. The cottage is walking distance from the village with lots of walks nearby. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The beach is about 8km away and is beautiful. We travelled into Dingle by car which is 18km away. I thought the cottage had everything I required and was well situated for a great break.

“Fantastic scenery, lovely cottage”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We brought a travel cot for our baby and my son slept on the camp bed provided and there was plenty of room, it was very clean, neat and comfortable and in easy reach of Inch beach which the kids loved. Hopefully we shall get to return to this beautiful area again in the future. Many thanks Margaret and John

“Lovely comfortable base for exploring Kerry”
Reviewed July 28, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Stayed here in July during a wonderful week of sunshine! Can't fault the cottage at all. Very clean, has all you need for a comfortable stay. Our 4 year old son really enjoyed himself particularly with having the use of the owners garden. He also enjoyed playing with their lovely dog, Kimberley. Owners are very nice helpful people, non intrusive but have wonderful knowledge of areas to visit. They also provided a stairgate for our son as stairs are quite narrow and steep. We also had the use of their barbecue which was fantastic + a lovely gesture on their part. Would recommend this highly to couples or a small family.
