“A comfortable stay”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at Annascaul House. A massive peat fire was lit as soon as we arrived, making the communal sitting and TV room a really warm and relaxing place to sit. Our room was smallish but nicely furnished and comfortable. The house has been decorated to preserve its original features but with a contemporary style. Breakfast was great and Moira and Tom could not have been nicer or more helpful. The B&B is very walker-friendly and they have good local knowledge of walks. I would recommend this b&b to anyone.

Room Tip: The downstairs room is very handy for using the common room.

This is a good budget choice, especially if you want to have a pint or two at the South Pole Inn in Annascaul. Moira and her husband were incredibly nice, and they thoughtfully had a fire going when we arrived so that we could dry out our boots (I was part of a walking group). Excellent breakfast, too.

While touring Ireland on motorbikes three of us stayed here. We liked the accomadation which was very clean and nicely presented. We had a good time around Annascaul that night. The breakfast in the morning was first class and we had a great crack with Gerry and Moira. They are lovely people and very down to earth. All of us agreed that we would definitely stay again and we would recommend Annascaul House to everyone going to that part of the country.

I haven't met many people who are as welcoming, funny and kind as Noel and Moira. Even before my ears had adjusted to the accent they had my sides hurting. I defy anyone to spend time there and not leave in a great mood. The house itself is smart and has proper character. I couldn't recommend it more. p.s.Thanks for lending us that tent even though we never used it.

Best B&B in Annascual, we have stayed in a few another but I would recommend this one 100%, it was our second visit here. The family which run this lovely B&B is awesom. They do very well, rooms are clean, modern, quiet, also you can use their garden for relax coffee time as well the main sitting room. The dinning room has a view to the garden so is nice and bright. They ask you day before what would you eat for breakfast, then you don't wait for order to be taken when u wake up and a servis is quick and food always fab, love their annascual pudding !! Can't wait for another short stay for surfing in Inch beach !! And we ll be definitely back again xx Zdena & Pavel.

This B&B was the best we'd seen in Country Kerry! Noel and Moira were absolutely lovely and so kind to us, even finding us a tent for the next day. Their breakfast was incredible and the setting was beautiful, with stunning views and the B&B itself was beautifully renovated and stylish. Thank you so much for a lovely escape from England!

We arrived at the B&B early and soaking wet after hiking from Camp in the rain. The hosts kindly let us in early, stoked the fireplace, set up the drying racks and helped us set out our things so they would dry for the next day's hike. The B&B is separate from the owner's living quarters and offers privacy and a comfortable sitting room. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts warm, inviting and more than willing to help us. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.
