“A first for us and we would go back.”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

Luckily I made a reservation for this restaurant as it was full! The fish (John Dory) was beautifully cooked and served and we both thoroughly enjoyed our first meal with this winery. We will also go back here.

“Excellent rose wine”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

We just visited the winery for a tasting while returning from Kidnappers Cape to Napier. It was quiet and near to closing, but the attendant was very helpful. They have a nice malbec, and a very good rose. We had originally tasted the rose at a wine shop in Taupo, and bought a couple of bottles at the winery for our travels. Worth a visit if you are doing tastings along the coast.

“Outstanding quality and service in RD2 Hastings”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

One of the finest 'tastings' and examples of service we have ever experienced.
Personal attention from founder owner and staff made our visit memorable.
A local and his two visitors from overseas took a production facilities tour, sampled wines in progress, tasted many superb ones from bottle / barrel and ate a perfectly executed lunch.
Best example of 'hospitality' in our memories.
All agreed, a world class 'activity' enjoyed by 3 vinophiles.
Highest and best recommendations and profound thanks for a job well done.

“Great wine”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

We only popped in here for a tasting and some of the delicious bread and dips. We had come here two years prior and found the experience to be just as great. The food was delicious and the wine selection fantastic. I found the lady providing tasting to be very informative and helpful and even though she got busy she was still very attentive. I would recommend this place for wine and nibbles but I cannot comment on the menu as we have never tried it, I hope we do though.
