Went to Brands on Sub Oct to watch the final of the Superbikes and support Shaky Byrne . Weather was crap so went by car - met up with the brave souls going by motorbike in the café nearby - very nice brekkie . Proper Bubble and Squeak !!!! was a thrilling day - weather dreadful but could cope with that and was on tenderhooks watching Shaky fight it out . After a very long cold wet day it was very so frustrating to have to sit in a car park for nearly two hours to get out ! Come on Brands that's not acceptable ! We will brave the cold , the wind and the rain but not incompetent and disorganised parking :) A private company were organising this - we were in "car park 2 " - it was supposed to be fair and five whatever cars being let out each side but obviously who was directing couldn't count as it was ten from one and 2 from another . People were getting very irate ( mostly women LOL ) and the girl directing did get some verbal although not to be expected . The private company gave up and pissed off and in the end it was a free for all but I must say far more organised when drivers doing it themselves!!! All I can say is whoever is organising events like this must be a bit more accountable - bit more planning and organisation please - they are happy to ask for whats quite a lot of money for very basic facilities . PULL YOUR FINGERS OUT - a long day and an even long evening to get what should take a short journey - I felt really sorry for people who had travelled far X

First time experience and would def go again! Came here on a family outing (three boys aged 9 and under). Despite the wind and rain, we had a great day out. Very clean facilities. Had brought a picnic lunch so didn't see food prices. Plenty of space to park. Well sign posted. Bought tickets in advance so just drove on through the gates with ease. Nice to walk around as far as we could. Sound system easy to hear and the commentators certainly made us laugh! There is a campsite and Thistle Hotel onsite. We never got to the playground owing to the weather but I am sure the boys would have enjoyed it!

Just been to Brands for the final British Super Bikes of the season. As usual the circuit excelled it's self with excellent facilities, clean and well looked after toilets and very reasonably priced food and drink. Ticket prices too were very reasonable We had great grandstand seats at Hailwood grandstand on the Sunday. Public address system was good too, didn't miss a word. My only complaint was the poor organisation of the traffic management, not enough Marshall's and it took much longer to get out than it needed to. However I emailed my disappointment and they replied straight away which was a nice surprise.
Looking forward to another cracking season in 2014!
