Stopped in here last week whilst travelling from Devonport to Launceston. Amazing waffles- I had the hazelnut waffles. It was so so good! The truffles are delicious :) There are past reviews that state there are limited options for lunch or that lunch isn't up to standard. Seriously, you come here for the desserts and chocolate! Beautiful location, nice atmosphere & good chocolate, what more could you ask for? Will be coming back if I am back down in Tassie.

Loved the waffles !!! large servings and great price too , we had the berry and the chocolate hazelnut , plenty of cream and icecream to go with it , nice to see as some places can be very skimpy with the toppings , great value for money !! Give coffee a miss though not good . A shame about the staff no smiles or pleasantries . Lovely gardens , plenty of parking and some of the cleanest toilets ive seen . will be back for waffles again !!

Dear "Memories7", thank you for your recent review, I love your short and sweet heading of "Yummo", that kind of says it all I think. The one thing we are very good at is all things chocolate and our Chilli Hot Chocolate is one of the most popular drinks we serve. We love seeing and hearing the reactions of kids (young and old) when they look at the giant chocolate melting wheel spinning round, wishing they could dip their finger in!! Hope to see you again one day.

This cafe is actually in front of a small chocolate factory so they have lots of yummy fudge, cake etc. The hit chocolate is really awesome but the service is terribly slow. If you get a take away hot chocolate they give you some free fudge. They have normal food too but it's a bit hit and miss. You can see the chocolate being made through a viewing window which is pretty fun and free.
