This is a traditional style restaurant in the old town of Tryavna. The outstanding part is the wine list, which contains offers from some of the best wineries in the land, e.g. Katarzhina. The service is OK, and the atmosphere is good, although the decoration does not create a truly authentic feel. As for the food, we were very happy with the main course and salads, but I would skip the dessert next time. The baklava was not properly layered, but had a single layer of nuts between two doughy wads of unseparated phylo sheets. The so-called creme brulee was actually a starch based pudding with artficial coloring and flavoring, completely missing the flamed sugar cover. The hot chocolate obviously came from a sachet. Still, the overall experience was nice enough to visit again, I would just eat sweets somewhere else.
