“Great atmosphere, great food, unusual location.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2014

Set in the middle of nowhere, no signs on the main road either, route 10 at km 185 then turn left by the wooden sign shaped like a fish. Difficult when it is dark with no street lights!

Then you drive about 400 meters and wait until you see the flashlights ahead telling to come and park.

Then cross onto Sandy paths and sand dunes to find your table surrounded by a log fire, amazing atmosphere.

Excellent grilled lamb, the best I've tasted in years, fantastic, top beef as well as wonderful starters, wines etc. excellent service but limited English spoken.

The only bad thing is the number of dogs wandering about. Not good at all especially if you don't like dogs and especially not at your feet in restaurants! Probably best to reserve inside to avoid the dogs but you lose the beach atmosphere. Great bar area as well nice night out. Trendy music and great customers!

“Great Great Geeat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

We had a beautiful dinner by the fire at this wonderful place. Cozy, good music, friendly staff and excellent food in our first night in this country. Worth the visit. We had seafood as starter and went for the gorgeous beef..... what a blessed country!!!! Food with a mix of european and gaucho culture......

It is not cheap but well worth it.

“Great atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

We sat at a table next to the fire pit. The lamb was delicious. Very pricey meal. Service just ok. Dogs were roaming around everywhere, which was sort of cute but also a little weird!

“Eat next to a bonfire in the sand out in the woods!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

I loved the casual feel of the restaurant, with all tables situated in thick soft sand with a bonfire in the center. This is not a casual setting in terms of price, but, it is the place to eat dinner in Jose Ignacio. Be sure to order the "Pinzas de Siri" as a starter. For the main course, order the "cordero" and the "papa rosti de salmon".
