A good place to wait for your flight. The food was fine, and it is relatively quiet and comfortable,

Very poor quality with most unhelpful staff. Food choice poor and cold. Coffee from machine also only just warm.

We have used, booked customers and recommended the lounge in the past. Unfortunately we won’t be returning or recommending in the future. On arrival, the lady at the front desk was polite and friendly. Once we were in the lounge, we honestly thought it was closed. We couldn’t see any staff, the tables were an absolute disgrace with litter, empty glasses and wrappers strewed all over the place. As we were about to ask for our money back a member of advised us one of the booths were clean and we could use this ( how lucky! ). I then went to get a couple of drinks so we could start enjoying the lounge and more to the point our honeymoon. Unbeknown to me the policy of collecting your own drinks has now ended. One of the reasons we booked the lounge as opposed to using one of the bars, was the fact you don’t have to queue for a drink which is what we found ourselves doing. We then had to wait ( along with other customers) for one of the staff to actually acknowledge us waiting before they would amble over and provide us with service. This happened each time we visited throughout our brief stay. As we were leaving we noticed the tables that looked like a bombsite were still in the same state as when we arrived 2 ½ hours before!

It is certainly preferable to waiting in the normal area, but is a bit disappointing all the same. Compared with the business class lounges at Heathrow or Dubai, this Aspire lounge is a bit dull.

Food choice is very limited, as is choice of beverages. I wouldn't say the seating is exactly comfortable, and the number of TVs is poor.

The view is good though, if there are planes on that side of the airport. Overall it's worth going in if you have Airport Angel or some other type of complimentary access rights, but probably isn't worth paying for.
