Cupecoy Beach Club
Reviewed January 20, 2012

I stayed at Cupecoy Beach Club for 2 weeks last month. This complex is wonderful. Beautiful views of turquoise water, sand stone cliffs, the islands of Saba, St Eustacia and St Kitts. The complex is perched on a sand stone cliff above a white sand beach and clear blue water. Snorkeling is just down the steps to the beach and just out and left into the beautiful water. On the first day my daughter found a huge pink konch shell! She was so delighted. Colorful fish swim around the underwater rocks.
The unit we stayed in is privately owned and very well furnished. Granite countertops, stainless appliances, high quality bedding and towels. The decor was current and beautiful.
Most every evening we enjoyed watching the sunset from our patio. It was so relaxing to enjoy a morning cup of coffee of the patio and feel the tropical breeze and full ocean view. Simply Magnificent!

This place is very safe. 24 hour security. 2 guards. Pool warmer than the air. Beautiful views of Saba, and the sea. Great bar, Cliffhanger, don't forget great hamburgers at the pool. Casino across the street has good Italian food. Best grocery on the island Grand Marche in Phillpsburg.
Just watch out nearby Mullet Bay, aquarium like water and lots of STINGING JELLYFISH, size of quarters and 50 cent coins.
Do not go to Boolchands thinking you will save any money on cameras. Get cameras in NYC or Camera world of oregon, shutterbug oregon, abes of maine. The people are snobby, think they know more than you on prices and they all are wrong. The savings is $25 and tax on a $350.00 canon and for a canon lens priced $1300 at abesofmaine $1270.00 Boolchands. I just could not get over the rudeness and stuffiness of these employees and I am pretty laid back.
ALSO DO NOT GET A HAT MADE FROM PALM TREE LEAVES $25, darling and fun to watch made, but there is a bug and they all get taken away US customs Puerto Rico.
Make sure to see the YODA guy Nick Marley, he is fun to talk too.
Anse Marcel the nicest beach on the island. 10 people there. No cruise ship anywhere around. Great snorkeling at Creole Rock.
Marigot is the best town!!!!
Grand Case -California resturant very nice. Darling owner.
Go to Simpson Bay and go on the boat tour with Bobby, where you drive your own boats, he is darling!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Cupecoy Beach Club in late March 2006. While most people there owned their units, we rented one privately. The room was large and faced the beautiful Cupecoy Beach. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The resort is very low-key and relaxing. We loved walking down the stairwell to the CliffHanger Bar and started most evenings watching the sunset and drinking cocktails there before heading out to dinner. While there are several restaurants across the street in the casino, we tended to drive to Marigot for dinner as we liked the food on the French side of the island better.

St. Martin definitely offers something for everyone. We loved our stay in Cupecoy and will likely head back to St. Martin in the future.

After annual visits to the Cupecoy Beach Club over the last 7 or 8 years we regard the CBC as our St. Maarten "home away from home". Great location, away from the airport congestion, but you can still walk across the street to excellent restaurants/and, casino, if you choose. Sunsets are spectacular!!! The condo accomodations we have seen are absolutely 1st class. While we have emigrated to St. Barth for most of our Winter GetAway, we always book 4 or 5 nights at the Cupecoy Beach Club on our return to the U.S. I'm just a "regular guest" reporting on an excellent property, and not a shill for the various entities who rent out their units; if you are interested check out the Net... if you like St. Maarten at all, you will love the Cupecoy Beach Club.

every bit what I expected and more--peaceful, quiet and exactly what I was looking for. Units are individually owned and make you feel at home without the cares of upkeep. Close to all the shops and restaraunts and airport( with very little noise ) Security was first rate. Hope to be able to go back next year.
