Unfortunately we stayed only one night in this really nice place on our way to the south of Pelopponese. The place is build in really good materials, bed and bedcloth just wonderful, the owners kind, helpful and eager to suggest places to visit. The breakfast is top. There is not much to say, it is just a perfect place to stay. And one more good thing, Amanites offers free parking for your car.

If I could give 6 stars to this little gem, I would not hesitate! We only spent one night on our way back North to Athens the day before flying back to England. We have certainly left a little bit of our heart at Amanites and will definately return next year when we will be exploring some more of the amazing Greek land. The owners Aris and Eleni and their daughter Hara were truly wonderful, we received the warmest welcome and goodbye and they really made us feel at home!!! You can immediately tell with what great passion and commitment they carry out their job. The Guest House is stunningly beautiful! It's located just a few mins walking distance from all the tavernas and with a direct view on the gorge to die for! Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless, decorated with great taste and with part of the original stone wall left, maintaining the wonderful original features with the comfort of stylish appliances. The breakfast: Wow!!!! A real feast of local fruit, products and amazing cakes, jams and bread baked with love by Eleni. Aris was so helpful in directing us to 2 amazing sites nearby: the Water-power museum and the unforgettable Prodromou Monastery. Unfortunately we didn't have more time but there is much more to see. What more to say: this brief stop was the best way to complete our incredibly happy holiday. See you again in 2013! Francesca and Nick

A beautiful and thoughtfully appointed Guest House, with lovely views and with a welcome to match. The owners, Aris and Eleni, could not have done more to make us welcome throughout our all too short stay. Breakfast comprised a large range of appetising alternatives, some regional goodies cooked each morning, as well as being asked if there was anything else that we would like to eat. There was more than an adequate sufficiency. The whole facility was spotlessly clean with very comfortable bedrooms furnished in "alpine" style. Washing facilities were excellent, and all the water was potable. Advice on notable and beautiful places to visit was always to hand. Close by are a number of good tavernas. When we visit the Peloponnese again we will definitely stay here again.

We arrived quite late into Dimitsana after visiting Olympia in the day. It was getting cold and luckily we had this hotel booked. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our room. Our hosts were so charming and even excited to see us - they settled us in and then encouraged us to have a drink with them in their Bar area. The rooms are really clean, comfortable and beautiful. You can tell they have gone to a lot of trouble and spent a lot of time and effort to ensure a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent and the buffet had lots of choice. The hotel is right in the centre of town and literally a 2min walk to the best restaurant in town!!!

I stayed at the Amanites guest house approximately a month ago, and found the owners very friendly and welcoming. The house itself was a lovely combination of old and new, as the owners had renovated it, keeping alive its original features.
The owners had a number of tips where to go, and we even got a map for our trip to Ancient Olympia with sights marked along the road! The town may be small, but it is in a very convenient place. Our trip to Ancient Olympia via the Apollo's temple took a day, yet we had plenty of time to explore the small villages in the mountains on the way.
Extremely yummy breakfast as well!
