Stayed here in the little town of Farellones with great views and wonderful service.
We booked the best room 'Condor' on the top floor which had great views out of huge floor to ceiling windows covering two windows and a huge shared balcony to watch the sun setting over far off Santiago which is clearly visable on days when Santiago pollution allows.
The staff/Owners were very accomodating and allowed us to add an extra bed to the room for our teenage son as the place was fully booked for our 6 days there.
Breakfast & dinners were included. Breakfast was fairly basic, continental style but dinners elaborate and well done. Though there is no menu if you have a dislike for something in particular (seafood/fish in my case) they are quick to offer alternatives. The meals were always top notch and the desserts exquisite.
Service is great though not much English is spoken by the staff but the owners Anna & Christophe are always on hand and they speak English.
Our only trouble was getting steady hot water for the showers but this was their first season to have the too floor open as it was new construction so I am sure this will be rectified soon.
There is no free transport to the Valle Nevado ski area but they were able to recommend a driver. There was however free transport to La Parva, El Colorado & Farellones ski areas via the ever friendly staff driver Oscar.
Farellones ski area is even walkable from the hotel and there you can buy tickets to El Colorado, here you can take the T-bar up the hill to reach the bottom of those slopes and ski down at the end of the day, fantastic!
