Price/quality-wise this is one of the greatest discoveries you can make in the Belgian region of Limburg. This small restaurant (about 20 people can be seated) is located in an old barn and looks at the same time warm and relaxed, and stylish and luxurious. It's being run by a couple with almost no help, which explains the very low prices (4 course set menus for 35 or 50€). The service is fitting with the surroundings: very friendly without being overly familiar.
I have been here at least 6 or 7 times and every meal was a lovely surprise. The cooking is subtle, with ingredients that match perfectly although the combinations are definitely not always obvious. Almost every dish offers a new and surprising combination of tastes.
In short: what you get here is a near-Michelin-star-experience for half the price. Vaut le voyage.
