There are not many accommodation options when visiting the Geel area so went for this hotel.
Key to note I also stayed at the hotel, ground floor below apartments. The room itself was spacious with a comfy bed, which is priority on so that fine. Breakfast, whilst basic, was a good enough spread. Some tasty welcome chocolates were nice.
The downsides however outweighed the above. A toilet that did not flush, poor finishing and broken switches, damaged tiling etc made for a poor quality looking room. In addition the fuse box made a loud buzzing noise all night which resulted in a broken sleep, on what was a comfy bed !
I would have rated this 3 out of 5 if the price was fairer but at Euro 140 per night, this place only deserves 2 out of 5.
All in all a disappointing stay.More
