We spent 7 nights at the resort. It was a wonderful start to our honeymoon. We normally travel backpacking so Makunudu was luxury for us but it was still laid back resort (not too formal). We reserved our stay straight for the Makunudu booking office, which was easy.
On the island everything went nicely. Service was good and the food was exellent. If we would stay here again we wouldn’t take the all-inclusive package. Only problem was that we got mixed information about the all-inclusive beverage package. The room was nice and tidy, but one must remember that paradice or not there will be ants, cockroaches etc. One suggestion for improvement would be styling the breakwaters, some aren't so pretty to watch from your "backyard".
House reef is good for beginner snorkelers or scuba divers and the dive shop staff was really helpful. Dive trips to other locations are also easily available. Unfortunately we had liveaboard trip comming so we didn't dive that many times with Dive Ocean team.More
