We stayed 3 nights here & I wish we had stayed a few more nights. It's a fair old slog up a mountain to the village of Kovachevitsa (15km from the bottom) but totally worth it if you're looking for a stunning mountain setting for hiking, biking or just touring the villages by car.
The room had a terrace so doing nothing and chilling out on the balcony is also an option.
There are no meals available there but the village has a few dining options as does the next village down.
Markov speaks good English and one day he took us down to the neighbouring village to have dinner and admire the view. The mountains really are stunning and I didn't want to leave!
