Owner cooks food using his own vegetables, resulting in good quality food. We had lunchtime menu at 16 Euro including ¼L wine and coffee. Though premises offer range from full "à la carte" to sandwiches and "salon du thé" options. We had the meal indoors in a upstairs room which had character furnishings. We had coffee in the garden / courtyard which had a eclectic mix for interest (small pond, birds in a cage and a peach tree in fruit),
Our starter was a selection of cold meats and vegetable salad, main a selection of meat e,g steak or duck with a selection of desserts. All well cooked and enjoyable. Good wines by the glass or bottle.
Owner cooked and waited on us, and was friendly and had interesting conversation.
Reccommend you try this excellent experience. If travelling a distance I would advise phoning to check it is open.
A pleasure to share our good experience.
