We visited the pub with our friends from Australia on the recommendation of a mate who lives in the village. Our friends wanted to visit a traditional English pub and they weren't disappointed.
The Tudor look from outside was carried into the pub with it's low ceiling and wonk walls !
The pub was fairly busy and the traditional pub ambience came across really well with locals mixing with the visitors. We were made very welcome and were soon chatting with the local people who were interacting with our Australian friends like they had known them for ages !
The Restaurant had wide selection of food, with many traditional recipes mixed with some very unusual new dishes. The food was plentiful and was served with a smile .
Overall a very nice pub with good food & beer with very friendly and attentive staff .
