We have been enjoying lunch here for many years, since the current owner took over and vastly improved the menu's, food and service.
Known to us as 'Mr. Tickety-boo' for his ability to pick up and use some old English phrases, the owners latest is 'it would be churlish not to' . He must be an avid reader of Jeaves!
Currently priced at just over 11Euros it offers great value. Usually they have two or three starters, a couple of main courses, and at least two sweet option, chease and coffee together with wine/cidre are included in the price.
I once arrived with friends, six of us in total, and the main was Andouille, not a favourite. He could see our look of disappointment and immediately offered pasta carbonara, not even on the lunch menu, it's that sort of place and that sort of proprietor
The restaurant is always busy at lunch time, and workers from the area take up the majority of the tables. I recommend you never leave it beyond 12.30pm to arrive othrrwise you may be disappointed.
It is situated by the sdd of the River Blavet, near to thd pick up pojnt for the Nina river cruise
