I stopped at Le Nidaux on a Friday night, after a week at a client site, on a whim as the extensive selection of bottles at the bar was visible from the street, and I suddenly felt like I deserved a good single malt. I ended up staying for dinner and I did not regret it.
The restaurant is composed of a fancy seating area (which was closed), a more casual (but nice and clean) area with tables in front of the bar, and outside seating (probably not available in winter).
On the Friday night I went to Le Nidaux the place was quite full, but service was prompt. I had a plate of Italian cold cuts with parmesan and then glass noodles with seafood. Both dishes came quickly and were excellent as well as being original. The single malt selection was also quite nice, going beyond the 5-6 typical single malts one finds most everywhere.
A nice find, just the type of change of pace I needed on a Friday night.
