We had our 25th Anniversary meal here, and they had Silver Wedding confetti over the table for us. Little touch but nicely done.
Food was fantastic - really couldn't fault it at all.Wild mushrooms on bruschetta and belly pork done to a tee - excellent.
Setting is - as admitted by the owners- not the most glamourous on the island, nor has a great view, but it does show what can be done with a limited space and a bit of imagination.
Service was relaxed ( a la Lanzarote in general) - I know some people here have said it's slow, but actually it's unhurried, and gives you time to digest one course before the next appears.
Negatives?: If I had to be picky (which you would need to be to find fault), it would be the noise when the place is busy. Like many Canarian buildings, it's not got a great deal of soft-furnishings, so when you have an enthusiastic crowd in, sound tends to bounce around and sound levels can get pretty high. Don't know if a few thick curtains (or something suitable for the locale) might help this? Just a thought...
