Our first time for an all inclusive holiday, so we were a bit nervous about what to expect. We need not have been, this hotel impressed us from the moment we arrived, the reception area is beautiful, with plants everywhere, well worth the dozen or so photos we took of it. Some reviewers have criticized the staff at reception, but we found them really friendly, and helpful. Our room was a nice size, with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, essential for a two week stay!. We found the food excellent, we had heard people say of other places that all inc. food can be hit and miss, but it wasn't here, a great selection on all three main meals, lovely salads or hot meals to cater for all tastes. The waiting staff were really friendly and helpful, also quick to clear tables, which was good as there were a lot of people there when we went.
We found it easy to get sunbeds, although if you wanted an umbrella you needed to get your claim in at 9am ish or you'd struggle to get one.
Top quality drinks at the bars (Smirnoff, Gordons Baileys etc) and very efficient and friendly bar staff.
We agreed we will be going here again, an excellent experiance for our first all inclusive holiday

Hi , We have just returned from a week at this hotel.Hotel is really nice and the food was excellent except for the breakfast and the waiting. The breakfast was always cold no matter what time you went in there to eat. You had to queue to get a fried egg! and the toasters are a joke. In the end we gave up on the cooked breakfasts and just went for the toast.. they really need to sort this out, they had 2 working toasters that you had to put your bread through 3 times if you wanted anything other than wam bread- They took ages.....Queues for a drink were long as they did not have enough staff, you had to wait for someone to come round with a swipe machine, and they seemed to appear every hour, so best order a few drinks at a time!Pools were lovely and the hotel itself was really clean- Towels and rooms cleaned daily.Staff were all very nice except the porter when we checked out! which really ended the holiday on low. Our taxi to the airport was late, so we went to the desk (4.45 am) and asked the desk clerk if he could phone them.. He was really rude!told us the taxi office would be closed but there was an emergency number if this was an emergency!asked us whether we wanted to check out and I said that we had done that the previous day, he said NO YOU HAVENT - YOU PAID YOUR BILL, THATS NOT THE SAME AS CHECKING OUT !! he was really very sharp- he needs some customer service training!
Personally we would not go back - Hotel Too big and queues Too long.
Oh just one more thing dont go if you suffer with your back as I do, Beds really hard.

Dear Diana,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and your kind words about our hotel grounds and exquisite gastronomy.

However we are truly sorry to learn that we were not able to entirely meet to your expectations and to hear about your disappointment with certain aspects.

Friendly and efficient guest service is one of our core values and we are glad that you appreciated the kindness of our personnel. However we wish to apologize for any shortcomings you may have experienced at our front desk. Please be assured that I already reviewed this with the relevant team member in order to find out what went wrong.

Although we strive to reduce waiting times to an absolute minimum, please understand that waiting times may occasionally occur as certain breakfast items are freshly prepared ‘a la minute’ by our Chefs.

Please be informed that the toaster has a browning control with different shades of browning. Often guests change the control to a very light shade and then it takes longer to toast.

Once again, we wish to thank you for your valuable feedback which helps us to continuously improve our services and guest satisfaction.

With kind regards from Lanzarote,

We are just back from seaside los jameos and had a wonderful relaxing holiday we travelled on the 5th june 2014 the hotel wasnt too busy although we could see it getting much busier towards the end of our stay which meant waiting slightly longer for drinks etc but not much it wasnt a problem. the hotel where quite strict that u could not reserve lounger before 9am this was great we got 3 everyday without a problem. the food was some of the best i have had on a all inclusive package great choice and a carvery every night plenty for my little boy pasta chips burgers etc you would have to be extremely fussy not to enjoy it the house wine was really nice as was the cava and beer desserts are to die for. the staff were very helpful and my little one asked for mlk the first night at the disco and the waiter remembered bringing him milk and biscuits every night during the entertaintment. The hotel entertainment was ok we stayed most nights after mini disco to watch it was varied enjoyable. if i had to be really critical firmer pillows please we did feel we where sleeping flat and ended up rolling a blanket under them, and the kids club the girls where lovely kids really took to them few more games maybe was bit repeative the one thing made me nervous was that on the first 2 days i signed my son in ticked the box that he was not allowed to leave and both days we found him playing round the pool this prompted us to make sure our loungers where round the kids club so we could keep a eye. would i go back? YES we already priced it but are priced out its jumped up a lot so ill try booking direct with the hotel x

Dear Seaside Los Jameos Playa Guest,

How lovely to hear that your recent stay has been a wonderful and relaxing one for your family.

Thank you for highlighting the high quality of our gastronomy and particularly the desserts of our Chefs who are truly passionate about surprising our guests with a selection of delicious creations each day.

It is a pleasure to hear that your son enjoyed spending time with our kids club staff: Rest assured that we will share your special mentions with the team.

Since all children registered in our Mini Club are always supervised - also during activities outside the Mini Club (in cases when it is stated that the child is not allowed to leave the Mini Club on its own) – we are very concerned about your comment and will immediately follow up on this.

We truly appreciate your kind feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back as our guests in the near future.

Had researched this hotel in depth and had been wanting to go here for awhile, im very glad we came, as it didnt disappoint at all, we had a great time. Am surprised how some fussy people have to find negatives. The hotel is positioned well, in a small quiet resort, just over the road to a big long beach.we walked in one direction to Matagorda to view the planes landing, and the other direction, walking along a very pleasant promenade into Puerto del carmen, and Puerto calero.walking, biking, joggers, lots of sporty people around using the brilliant cycle path, and promenades.beaches were surprisingly empty, but the water did feel cold.plenty of shops, bars, etc to pass whilst walking along. seemed very reasonable prices outside in resorts, and cheap spar shops galore. Hotel food was varied, fresh, colourful, nicely presented.always managed to find a table inside or outside, staff very hard working and attentive. THERESA, DAVID, YANG, to name just a few, were really helpful, and friendly. Salads, fish, meats, pastas, paella, burgers, steaks, chips, lots of variety.drinks served to your table by waiter service. So sometimes yes a few minutes wait at a bar for a drink, its no big deal.your on holiday, relax. WE had a nice glass of cava whilst checking in too, which is a nice touch.splendid room, nice private balcony overlooking gardens.pools look lovley, sunbeds plentiful, however you had to be up and grab them early, which wasnt on our to do list, so just sat elsewhere, didnt like to be trapped inbetween 10 sunbeds next to one
another elbow to elbow.so we chose to relax around the complex, plenty of normal seating, and we explored the beaches and villages around. They have a very lovely fish pond with huge fishes and terrapins, just beautiful. The Piano bar was just lovely, musician singer very talented, lovely relaxed ambience.the main entertainment venue seemed much busier but popular too.suited a good age range of guests. OVERALL a very pleasing hotel, well run, dedicated staff, good standard of clientele, better than many all inclusives ive been to, people were respectful, and disciplined on the whole. A very lovely relaxing hotel. We stayed all inclusive, enjoying lovely cocktails, cava, some branded spirits were included. our inclusive cards lasted until 5pm on our last day which was perfect too.

Recently returned from Seaside Jameos. A lovely welcome from reception staff, fast check in with a glass of cava, reception had a lovely welcoming feel to it. Room was of a good size, plenty of hanging space, we had a family room. Bathroom was a good size with complimentary toiletries. Rooms were clean. We had read several reviews and what we had to agree on with previous comments was the quality and choice of food. Plenty of choice and cooked to a high standard. Unlike previous desert counters, this hotel offered a wide variety and they actually all tasted different!! Drinks were branded and generous, unusual but most welcome!! The staff we found were very hard working, the hotel was busy and tables were cleared quickly, those which criticized about the speed of which tables were cleared, you are on holiday, relax and take time out, these guys really do work hard and fast!! We hired a car, the island is not the most pretty, but Fire Mountain and the caves we thought were worth a visit. We found this hotel offered a very relaxing and happy environment for a week and we would return. Worth taking a jumper as evenings could be a little chilly and although we stayed at the end of June we had a couple of overcast days, and it did seem quite cool. There was a pleasant promenade at the rear of the hotel, with plenty of shops which were not expensive, and a few bars. This made a pleasant change as some A.I hotels can sometimes be a little remote. Almost everything was thought of and would definitely recommend. (Men take long trousers for the evening). One final thing, sunbed police will remove your towel before 9.00 am, but to get round this, just sit on your chosen sunbed until then:).
