“A lovely place”
Reviewed August 14, 2014

my husband and I stayed here for 3nights it was lovely. The breakfast was nice and even offered evening meals which were very nice. Hazel and Annette went out off there way for me.I can not eat anything with wheat or gluten init so they went out and got food in for me. They made us feel very welcome. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely. The garden is great a lovely place to sit. The whole house is wonderful but most of all very relaxing. You can just sit in the bar in the evening with a drink and chat to Annette and hazel and the family which was just a perfect ending to the day. There is so much more i cauld say But most off all Just go there.

Room Tip: All the Rooms are great.

Having worked away in the Spalding area for the last 2 years, I have stayed in most local hotels but this one is definitely the best! The whole house, bedrooms, gardens, hosts and setting are perfect in every way. The suites are enormous with lovely sofas to relax in the evenings, the bathrooms are totally luxurious. Hazel & Annette, along with the whole family are extremely good hosts and cannot do enough for you. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked a room whilst looking for property in the Market Deeping area. The Hotel is a wonderful Grade 2 listed Georgian Building with many original features. Our stay was very comfortable but more importantly exceptionally relaxing. The owners make you feel part of the family and nothing is too much trouble. In the morning we had a great British breakfast and set off. We enjoyed our stay so much we returned a week later and had another great stay. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone in is looking for a room in a wonderful hotel and a very reasonable cost. We will stay again.

Room Tip: Suites are bigger than Family but teh family rooms are big.

We stayed for 3 nights and could definitley had stayed longer, the Green room was light airy, and spacious for 2 Adults and our very well behaved collie, We had a view of the large back garden and there was a country lane just a few minutes away which was ideal for dog walking. The large bed was very comfortable and we both slept soundly every night, The breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to have a table in the bar where the dog was welcome too, The new owners were extremely helpful and it felt like they had been there forever, not just two weeks !! There was plenty of parking space and excellent wi fi . We visited nearby Boston and Spalding which both had a good variety of shops.and there is a shopping centre very close by, but unfortunately did not allow dogs. This lovely homely property ticked all our boxes and we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: I would say all the rooms were highly rated for the price.

Stayed here for 1 night after attending a wedding in Spalding, what a treat!
Such a grand and beautiful house, our bedroom was huge with an equally big en suite with both bath and shower.
Spotlessly clean, massive extremely comfortable bed.
The house is so attractive and we felt like royalty! The owners are so friendly and helpful and made us very welcome.
Breakfast was fabulous everything you could possibly need!
I only wish we were staying longer, really recommend this gorgeous hotel, you could not be disappointed, great value for money.
Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Room Tip: Prepare to be bowled over! It's amazing

Sadly, we were probably the last guests to stay at St Nick's under the current ownership of Jason and Richard and we wished we had stayed here before during recent trips to the area. Our bedroom was amazing - it was huge and very tastefully furnished. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up. The bathroom was also large with a bath and separate shower. There were also amazing views from our bedroom. it goes without saying that this place was very clean and well furnished throughout. The food, whether breakfast or dinner was wonderful, and the service faultless. Thank you guys, this is without doubt one of the best places we have stayed in and we hope the new owners do not change it in any shape or form. It was also exceptional value for money.

Room Tip: As my review says we were the last guests under the current ownership. The new owners may change thi...
