I went with my girlfriend on a walk to brighton beach and we found this little gem on the way. The food was great and sitting out to beautiful views made our experience complete

“Average”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

The food and service at lunchtime is average, great location, beautiful view. Sides are an extreme rip off, we ordered the bean, fetta and olive salad and got 11 beans for $9. After complaining to staff we were told, ok dont touch it by the waiter, then front of house came and had a look, said she would "take care of it", the dish sat there until we had finished our meals. Pretty pathetic. Won't be going back there again.

“What an incredible rip off!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

We went to the cafe today as a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Having read the recent reviews about an Iranian MasterChef, was hoping it would be ok. Sadly mistaken.

4 out of the 6 dishes we ordered came minus the accompaniments on the menu:

2 x Grilled tuna steaks which were supposed to come with an eggplant dressing. There was no eggplant in sight and it was dry as leather, couldn't be finished. The waiter insisted that the eggplant was rubbed onto the tuna...

Salt n pepper calamari that seemed to be missing salt in the batter. It was supposed to come with aioli which was again missing. The waiter said it was drizzled on the side but the only other thing on the plate was some rocket leaves...

We ordered two Atlantic salmon, orange, rocket and dill salads. It was literally "orange" - the dishes came with a single tiny orange wedge!! For $23 at a cafe u would expect more. The salmon was so tasteless I couldn't finish it.

Will never go back there and waste of $280 for our table bill.
