“Boucla - Rokeby Road food and coffee sensation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

Boucla is the destination of foodies and coffee lovers. We all simply love being welcomed by Boucla owner Despina whose hospitality and fantastic, delicious, fresh and memorable food sensations, combined with friendly and efficient staff (including Boucla's inimitable barista "Fred") all contribute in ensuring an exciting and memorable place to meet, drink coffee and eat great food.

“A Subi gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic coffee, great service and the whole place is a feast for the eye. The food displayed in the cabinet is positively mouth watering. As previously mentioned, the only downside of Boucla is it's popularity!! The cafe design creates a bottleneck with people wanting takeaways and the noise can be deafening - but if you jag a back table or out in the garden, you're in for a major treat!

“Always a lunch delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

I visit here for lunch once a month when I fly into Perth for work. It's a fab location and I love this little piece of Morocco. As I have been to Morocco, I know authentic, and this is it. Great atmosphere, always very busy. Lovely food, and great coffee, I'd recommend dining in for the bustling experience of a slice of local Moroccan experience. Amazing salads. I love this place!

“My local cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

Excellent coffee and chai tea, delicious food, good service. It has a little nook where you feel like you're hiding away from everything. Nice garden out back. Only problem - it's too popular and often there's no space. That problem deters absolutely no one.

“Squeeze in to this little place for great coffee.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

I love this little place for its crowded atmosphere, eclectic decor and furniture, little nooks in which to sit, and well made coffees and light food, especially the salads. Its not far from my work which is great, but it is in a part of Subiaco that is a little bit light on for other places that keep you interested and in the area, so they are closed in the evenings when trade dies right down.

The main barista (?Fred) is quite a character, and it just happens he is a very good coffee brewer, and very fast at his job too.
