Must try the almond croissants there! Loved how fresh and cheap the fresh vegetables and fruits were. Too bad we didn't stay for longer or we'd buy more fruits and vegies! If only Sydney had such competitive prices for this level of freshness. Also really enjoyed the little shop which had all types of rice, nuts, chips etc. I'd definitely shop there often if I reside in Perth.

I'm a regular to the markets here and love the noise and bustle of the place. I always find something different here and treat myself to a french pasty, flowers or a massage. i have even been known to blow the budget on some amazing vintage furniture!

The Subiaco Station St Markets include a number of fruit and vege sellers with good variety and prices, an array of international cuisine like Japanese, Turkish, Vietnamese as well as fresh flowers, quirky antiques, Easyway bubble tea, Lawleys Bread and more. Open weekends it is a nice way to spend the morning if you include it with a visit to the farmers market, Rokeby Rd & the Subiaco Museum. If your accommodation is based nearby it would be a good place to pick up some treats and produce as well as a cheap bite for lunch. The place isn't set out that way so expect a crowd and be on the look out for a table, the tables are looking dirtier of late. I enjoy the Vietnamese venue that does a nice pho (beef soup), bo kho (beef stew), rice paper rolls and stuffed chicken wings.
