An incredible place. Possibly one of the most modern resorts in which I have stayed. Various beautiful pools dot the landscape overlooking the Dead Sea. The rooms look like a set from Star trek with indirect lighting, two TV's, beautiful bathroom, a full fridge with free drinks, excellent service, and on it goes. As I was with a tour I don't know how much a room would cost per night, but however much, this was one of the best places I have ever rested my head.

I stayed here for 3 days and it was wonderful. The food , ambience, crowed where fine. Nice garden, open restarents and pool. The hotel is in the bay of deadsea and you can go into the sea when ever you want. Bath rooms in your room also have the deadsea mud kept for you. You must visit petra caves which is 4 hrs away from your hotel..

Room Tip: Think all rooms are facing the dead sea but suggest to take the individual huts..

I spent 3 nights at the week end. Without asking my reservation of the cheapest choice was double upgraded to a quit and fancy executive suit. Excellent breakfast. Staff are very helpful. Free internet and mini bar while other hotels surcharge.Sure to use again.

Room Tip: All rooms are sea view but the Ishtar building is much nicer than the main building and more expensi...

Probably because of the general malaise in the MidEast tourism sector, this hotel was startlingly empty on our recent two night stay. The staff outnumbered guests easily. Rooms were large and luxurious, the spa was an amazing, indulgent fantasy, food was great, and getting slathered with Dead Sea mud by hotel staff and then floating in the Sea to wash it off was pretty amazing, The resort is very large, and that was amplified by the few guests. But overall, a really great stay in a gorgeous and very friendly country.

The hotel is amazing. I would suggest the upgrade to the villas. It's like a little private oasis. Each villa has a semi private pool, which is nice for quick dips. The main pools are unbelievable. They are all infinity pools overlooking the Dead Sea. The hotel offers free usage of the dead sea mud. Do make sure to give your self a treatment...and bring a camera! The food is amazing. I suggest the pizzas at the pool during the day and the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet has all of the middle eastern favorites. Although I ate at all of the restaurants, the Thai & the Italian, the grill buffet was still my favorite. The spa is a must. I had the best massage in my entire life! Show up early for your appointment to take full advantage of the water pressure pools and saunas. The only complaint I have about the hotel is that nightlife is non-existent, so enjoy every second of the sun and have a late dinner, because that is your night.

The Hotel is really wonderfull, unforgettables all the views when you walk up and down. The rooms are good as also the common space and the swimming pool.
The restaurant is nice (you can't exit from the hotel: you are far from every place, but it is not important because you stay in a magic place).
When I was at Kempinski Dead Sea the Hotel was full, so there were some problem with the service at the rooms and also at the restaurant.
I don't care: I want to come back soon.....

The property is beautiful, though it had a few design flaws. My first night, I stepped out of the cab and due to poor lighting, into a 7" deep drainage hole and badly sprained my ankle. And this happened directly in front of the main entrance.

The hotel staff did call in a doctor from Amman who arrived as quickly as possible and he was personable and professional.

I spent the rest of my stay in a wheelchair (which says alot about the size of the room!) Everything about the property was quality, all worked well and the staff were some of the most friendly I've ever encountered. A call to the front desk brought a personal driver in a golf cart to your door in 5 minutes and the linens, robes, slippers were great quality. Nice marble bathroom, varied selection of toiletries, huge tub, separate and equally large shower.

I had a stunning view, but was also in one of the more expensive suites that are just above the villas at the 1st line to the sea.

The major disappointment here was the hotel manager, who after finding out about my ankle, merely sent a plate of chocolates and fruit to my room. I had to return through 3 airports, in a wheel chair and my ankle took 5 weeks to heal.

Somehow it seems that if you injure yourself at a hotel, they should offer something; a discount on your stay, a free night or two should you return... Something. My entire visit with them was diminished because of a design flaw in their property.

All in all a great place to stay/visit. Just be sure to look down when getting out of the car!
