“Excellent Managed Hotel in the ME”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

I used to visit this hotel at least once a year, but frankly speaking ; every visit I find lot of impravement and changes, thanks to the managements who keep the high standard of this hotel and its facilities.
The same smily faces when checking in and all necessary help and support.
Smae clean rooms and facilities including halls , swimming pools ,,, etc
Good food and excellent services specialy during the break fast.

Room Tip: Choose rooms with Dead Sea view

This is an ideal place to stay if you're planning on visiting the Dead Sea. I looked around the nearby hotels (were looking to eat dinner there) and am convinced this is the best in the area. There do not seem to be any smaller and more individually designed hotels - so, as far as big hotel chains go - this is a high standard.

The rooms are fine and clean and the service was impeccable, but it's really the pool and the Dead Sea itself, which makes this hotel special. The pool is divided into several areas and levels which makes it easy to find a quiet corner if you are not there with your family. You can, however, feel a bit isolated as there aren't really any other places to go in the evening, but just as well as the food was fine, but don't come here thinking you're going to be going out in the evenings.

Two pieces of advice, which when considering them as I write them down are pretty obvious: 1: Don't trust locals telling you that you can't get burned in the sun due to the depth at which the Dead Sea is located and 2: Don't shave immediately before going into the Dead Sea... it is made of salt... ouch!

We stayed in duplex suite .. Did not like room layout because we could not being luggages to our room on the second floor as stairs too narrow .. 2 rooms on the 2 nd floor so we have to go up and down to get changed .. Not a good practice.. Ask for a view of dead sea which wad beautiful ... Access to beach was easy and a few restaurants in the hotel ( champion bar offered good burger ) .. Buffet was a little steep considering not many restaurants in the area.. Bfast was oke as well .. Internet is not free Jod10 for 24 hours

We stayed at this hotel from 30th of December till the 1st of January. We were scheduled to stay for only one night. We decided to extend our stay by one additional day after seeing the location and the quality of the resort. These folks were completely booked solid due to 31st December party. I spoke to the front desk manager -- Laith Naber -- and he assured me that he would spare no effort in getting us the additional night. He did not disappoint. As I was a Lifetime Platinum, I was upgraded to a junior suite. I was able to stay in the same room for the second day and while I was not able to use points for the additional day, they charged me rate for a regular room. I was pleasantly taken aback by the front desks desire to help me out -- just amazing service. The reason I have given them average rating on the value is the cost of alcohol -- ~9 JD (12 USD) for a large beer.

Room Tip: The junior suites are amazing -- large room with queen beds and good view of the sea.

Beautiful layout, the lobby and the rooms exude luxury. Fab pools, spa and restaurants. Nice sandy beach-like waterfront to relax and sunbathe before the steps down to the actual, rather stony seaside. Friendly service. Wish we stayed longer!

My family and I sadly only stayed for one night on Christmas Eve - we wish it was longer. Situated in an ideal position to access the Dead Sea - the staff provide both plastic sandals and guidance on accessing the Sea as well as the methods of applying the "magical" mud. We were there for an idyllic afternoon with the sea a millpond and in spite of being the middle of winter lying under the sun umbrellas was perfect.

We dined in the Italian restaurant and the Tagliata Di Manzo was the equal of example I've eaten in Italy. A memorable night with excellent food and service to complement a great resort in a fantastic location to access this wonderful tourist destination.

The Hotel is "U" shaped with it's two "arms" against the sea. We had our room (559,) which was in the northern arm, with the balcony looking south against the pool area and the sea. That was very lucky...since we are sun worshippers and the sun in wintertime didn't reach zenit, we had sun on our balcony the hole day (it was too windy and cold to lie on the beach). If we would be in the southern arm with balcony against north we would be in shade the whole day. The other two options (views to the outside - not the pool area) would be catastrophic, since we would just see walls of neighbouring hotels.

Service and breakfast - world class!

Spa great!!

Two cons;
Internet for charge - that is cheap! it must be included for that price - all budget hotels and hostels have free internet!

Room service - we ordered two burgers. We got frozen burgers and fries, worse than McDonalds - Not OK for Mariott!

Room Tip: X51-X73 if you want pool and view and sun instead of shade or walls of neighbouring hotels
