A short walk from downtown, there are amazing views from the garden, which is absolutely magnificent. The museum staff are sweet and helpful. The house is gorgeous, and the space has been very well used to give a good idea of who Dior was and what he still stands for. A definite must-see!

Loved the fashion exhibition, but there was little about Dior himself which was odd since this was his childhood home. The garden was stunningly beautiful and the house looked lovely.

This is our second visit to Musee Christian Dior and the current exhibition (Stars En Dior) displays Dior costumes from movies and designs worn by stars such as Elizabeth Taylor. Its only 7 Euros for entry and the house and grounds are beautiful. In addition you can take steps down to the Granville promenade.

Wonderful place to visit if you're in Granville. The property, that was Christian Dior's childhood house, is surrounded by a beautiful vast garden that overlooks the sea. There is an outdoor tearoom where you can sip rose tea, eat yummy baked goods (the strawberry tart is delicious) and enjoy the beautiful settings. The museum in itself is rather small, but has beautiful garments exposed and photographs documenting Mr Dior's life.

Entrance fee is €7. The museum is opened from mid-May to mid-September. It is worth the detour.

The house is set in idyllic grounds and after a fascinating tour of the house and exhibition sitting in the garden sipping tea and looking out over the very blue sea leaves one enchanted and wanting to return
