Stayed for two nights as part of a self drive holiday around France. Great location and we had the added bonus of fireworks across the harbour for Bastille day right outside our window, reasonably priced bar and cafeteria self service breakfast. Granville itself more of w working town than a tourist resort but was a good location for us to drive to nearby attractions such as bayeuax, Caen and the Normandy beaches. Worth the extra 11 euros a night for a waterside view. Easy public parking.
Marvellous view on the harbour side of the hotel.
The restaurant is excellent and not pricey.
The rooms are rather shabby at present (torn curtains, scuffed paintwork) but are currently being renovated.
Choose a room on the harbour side (for a small supplement) as there is a factory and public parking on the other side which can be noisy.
Very helpful staff.
Everything was clean, quiet, nice and friendly! the location is great, being right by the port de plaisance. The staff was lovely, and the restaurant was wonderful! very unusual for any chain hotel and I will definitely make it my only destination when I go to Granville!
Better than an average Ibis, comfortable rooms, great location, very pretty outlook.
The hotel is easy to find and parking is easy and free.
We piad extra for a marina view however I do not consider it of value unless you re staying for more than overnight - the morning sun is very strong and any view is blinded - and you can get the same view from the bar terrace for nothing.
Overall good value.
