... this is your hotel to stay in The area or you are on a short trip between Mt. Saint Michel and Normandy coast,, want a good and clean room and best relation price/quality.

Also important the late night check-in availability

Ibis Budget is the best way to go if traveling through Brittany/Normandy

We have often stayed in Etap hotels and this was as good as many.
Set in pleasant lawns, a bright building with the standard Etap layout.
The room was clean, all linen and towels were fresh. We slept very well.
The breakfast was better than many, with an excellent variety and choice.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Highly recommended.

My husband I stayed one night on our way up to the ferry. The hotel is set off the road so it's nice and quiet. The room was basic - a double bed with bunk above, wash basin, desk with tv above and a loo with shower - a bit like on a ferry. The bed was comfortable and clean, and we slept well. The only downside was when you take a shower, the floor became very wet. We were provided with a towel and soap each - no shower gel, shampoo, etc. but enough.
In the morning the breakfast - 5.95 euros - bargain! It was self-service, all set out in a kind of cupboard, but coffee was good, fresh bread and cakes, yoghurt, fruit, jams, juice, in fact everything except the eggs and bacon! You could eat as much as you wanted, well worth the money.
I would recommend for an overnight stay, not longer. There is no restaurant on site but we ate in the port area, a short drive away. It is situated amongst the out of town shopping - near to supermarkets, etc. It was very busy when we arrived on Saturday afternoon but was quiet on Sunday.

Though this hotel is out of the centre of Granville it is really good value. We managed to squeeze all four of us in our room with one of our kids on an air bed in their sleeping bag (we were on our way to our campsite). We have stayed in F1's previously so having an en-suite was a bit of a novelty. TV in room plus free Wifi as standard. Good choice of eat as much as you want breakfast was also good. Hotel nice and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Great for a one night stay on your way to your holiday. Would definitely use again. Granville is a lovely sea front town with some great buidlings and streets to wander around in.

It isn't always easy to find a family room to accommodate two adults and two children so you end up taking two rooms in this kind of place - because they are cheap.
Some of them have adjoining rooms with a connecting door - not this one. Some of them have recently been refurbished - not this one. Some of them are close to town - not this one.
We stayed at a Premiere Classe in Rouen on the return leg from Finistère which put this place to shame - and it was cheaper.
Hey the staff were friendly and it was worth having a look around Granville.
