This hotel is amazing. I traveled with my husband and my 7 month son.

It has everything. And if you have kids is even better. Is defiantly a family hotel... i would not recommend it to couples. Since it has the amusement park a lot of children are in the hotel. The water is shallow and smooth (a few waves) perfect for the little ones. The beach is wide and clean and really beautiful. The pool area a little bit crowded, but there is plenty of space at the beach :D The pool is great also. The food is really good, they have steamed stuff if you have babies, a blender that you can use. They also have a kids area with cute colorful tables and chairs. There is an area only for adults which is far less noisier (although children eat there to, we ate there as well because here was no room in the other area). Eating outside we found to be the best :D A lot of high chairs for children to sit at the dinner table. You can take long walks along the hotels and beach. They have a beautiful pathway set up for this. I can't say much about the entertainment because we had a 7 moth bay with us so we pretty much was sleeping at that time :) I know that at night at the beach bar there is live music.

Also if you are a seafood lover you will love it. Lots of fish assortments, fresh pancakes and waffles every day.

At the pool there are a lot of stands with food fruits ice cream and deserts.

I recommend this hotel is nice, and new opened last year!

Room Tip: Any side i think is good, if you are just in front of the amusement park maybe it a little noisy, bu...

Our family spent 2weeks at this hotel last August. The hotel is very pretty, and no expense has been spared on the fixtures and fittings. The staff on the bars were very friendly if you are polite with them. Too many rude holidaymakers from other countries tested the patience of many staff. I found reception desk staff hit and miss, sometimes helpful, sometimes not. We had 2 rooms, which were very nice, and cleaned frequently to a high standard. The maids worked very hard. Pools were vast, and always available sun beds at any time of the day. Food was generally of a high standard, and a vast variety of choice. Snack bars around the pool were good. Entertainment was generally ok. Beach party once a week was good fun. All in all the hotel was a good place to holiday.

BUT............... We didn't enjoy our holiday as much as we should have done.
2 of our family were ill while here, with sickness and diarrhoea. One of us for 5 days.
Pools are vast, and only 1 lifeguard. Did not see a lifeguard on the beach area. Beach is not the cleanest either, lots of people leave rubbish and cigarette ends.
Young children and babies in the pool with no swimwear on. We saw one child urinate into the pool from the side and the parents didn't bat an eye. We also watched another child use the pool as a toilet. I had to report it to staff, who came with a net and fished out what they could, threw some chemicals into the water and went. There were still visible signs what they had missed. Needless to say we didn't go back in the pool in that area again, especially after being ill.
Dress codes were not followed in the restaurants. Adults only restaurants ( over14s if I remember correctly) were full of young children.
The hotel had signs up about alot of these rules but did not act on their own rules when broken.
Various other niggles spoilt this holiday. Eg other holidaymakers from other countries who were very loud and rude.

The good parts of this holiday we enjoyed, but unfortunately the bad points outnumbered the good points. Therefore I would not go back to this hotel, neither would I recommend it to my friends. I expected more from a brand new 5 star hotel, especially with the amount of money we paid.

Our 3-member family had a great stay in this hotel for new year 2013 celebration. It's the sixth time my family spends new year in Antalya region. For two years we tried other destinations, but this year we came back.To be fair I don't think any other destination has better "value for money" ratio.OK,there are some imperfections, but finally when you leave the overall feeling about the vacation is very good.
The hotel itself is an impressive property.Loved the design.Everything so new.Big hotels usually have no style, but here someone tried hard.
Food was the best.We even had sushi one night.Great fresh juices in the morning.Loved the one from carrots.
So,everything so good except: we forgot my daughter's jacket in disco and nobody from personnel found it(but it might be some of the guests that finally had it).And the thing that really bothered me: on New year eve kids had to be separated from the adults.OK,but when I ask who takes care that they don't leave on themselves,no one in charge was appointed. There was just a girl from animation who stayed in mini club to play with the kids but I was watching and she didn't stop kids that were leaving on their own. Most kids do not understand her. They have now a lot of guests from Bulgaria. It's good to have Bulgarian speaking animation team member.I had to stay in front of mini club most of the time

We stayed her here in July, it was recently opened so had general teething problems.

It was really clean, we stayed one week in royal dragon one week Alhambra. This hotel is better set up!

Food and drinks good. Could have done with more purchased acts at night.

We stayed at Royal in the summer of 2012, as a family of 4. This is a new hotel which needs a lot of improvement in terms of services.
Overall, once we realized we will not get the service we expected, we were ok. The kids had lots of fun: great slides, swimming with turtles in the see, building sandcastles, minidisco and the rides every evening.
The children had a great time, but we as adults can write a few things which did not impress us. It was hard to get a good coffee, since most of the bars’ staff were not trained to use the bar “technology”. Swimming pools were very crowded (too small of an area for the capacity of the hotel), and some of their edges were a real danger to swimmers. The tiles around the pools were extremely slippery and we were lucky enough that none of us broke a limb. The main restaurant was not prepared for the influx of guests. There were evenings when we could not get a glass of water or wine or beer for 15-20 minutes, and that only after walking to the bar 3-4 times. The other bars in the hotel did not have well trained staff. I had to intervene several times for my kids to be served, since a lot of adult clients ignored them or physically pushed them aside from the line up (in our previous experiences, bartenders served on the basis of first come first serve, regardless of age …). The cleaning ladies were nice but highly ineffective. We did not need a lot of things for them, but we had to change our own towels a few times, never mind cleaning the rooms or making the beds. In terms of a la carte, we had a good experience and a really bad one. Be prepared to pay for the drinks you order (other 5 stars ultra all inclusive would have most drinks included in the “package”), and make sure you let the staff know what is “your time frame” for having dinner (we were in a restaurant for more than an hour, and we were served only one dish … other tables, speaking Turkish came after us and had 2-3 guys looking after them).
One “special” mention which has not much to do with the hotel addresses the clientele. Some of the guests, are extremely rude, taking advantage of the fact that the staff has no clue how to deal with certain situations. Not to mention we had the opportunity to share the hotel with a large group of gipsies …
For the money we paid we expected more from this hotel.

Good location and faclities. Family loved it with all the entertainment on offer. Children loved the fact it was very compact and very easy to go from one pool to another. Always plenty of seats by the pool with corresponding shades.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room on a high floor for less noise and better views.

A very special, much waited moment for all of us is the one when we finally go on holidays, breathing freely and relaxing after a year of routine, stress and work.
At the beginning of September 2012, we went with family friends to a really fantastic all-inclusive hotel in Turkey, Side, The Royal Alhambra Palace, the hotel grand, somptuous, huge, almost pharaonic wanted to be a combination of comfort, luxury and history in today modern architecture, a contemporary replica to Royal Alhambra Palace and Gardens In Granada, Spain. The truth is that we have not been very impressed by its size and proportions, though it was very clean in all its component parts and the staff did their best to please us; the apartments were very clean, with new and nice furniture, cushions, traditional paintings, nice decorations of all the rooms and hotel areas. But you know, hotels are the same everywhere in the world; a hotel will be just a hotel.
What we really enjoyed was the lovely Antalyan climate and temperature, the coastline, Side, the town with its Greek-Roman history and heritage, the sea water, the Turkish Hamam, the variety of foods among which I wiil mention those of the country, namely the delicious Turkish pastry, i.e.Gözleme and the Turkish Rakie, a sweet bitter alcoholic drink, a very good and pleasant digestive liqour.
In spite of all these advantages there was a major discomfort: the great number of babies being brought to spend summer holidays, the perambulators everywhere, not to speak of the noise consequently created
All in all, we had a great time there.
