Best all inclusive hotel in turkey that we have been to, Snacks at Pool Bar and Beach bar good variety. animation team great fun Petra, Lena, Leo and Adam Great to have around, made our holiday, They worked hard and long hours Well done guys.
No complaints with the food what so every something to keep us happy every day, ice creams every day (including cornetto's) and you didn't have to pay for them which makes a change as other hotels charge. Beds on the beach also included with no extra charge.
Only complaint I have is at the main restaurants in the evenings they run short of table twice while we were there and then people jump in before you have chance to get the next table available as they don't wait at the door like we did so kept missing out, guess we were being to polite, my advise to management would be have some one waiting at the door to sit people on the tables when they became available.
Other than that my husband and I had a great week at the hotel and are looking to go back again next year.

Room Tip: We were in room 3120 and didn't have a problem with noise, Pool and sea view, with queen size bed.

FANTASTIC time for our Honeymoon. 19th sept to 3rd of october.
we could not fault a thing everything was perfect.
From staff to service, excellent food and lots of it, you will never go hungry.Spotlessly clean and tidy.
Bars and restaurants excellent. Al la carte... bundles of top quality food. Drinks very nice and plenty of variety
Pool and Beach to die for total luxury everything on hand and catered for.
Entertainment team we will miss so much they were so friendly and good at what they did the shows were excellent. We didn't do daytime activities but they never forced or bothered you to do things.
Staff knew your drinks within a couple of days.
We had room 1227 (right on the front of the zoo) the first morning we got woke up but after that no worries, we learnt to use the air con so we shut the door at night and could hardly hear them after that. The view from our balcony was beautiful, a full sea view and sunset too beautiful.
We had the full Honeymoon treatment room flowers everywhere swans and petals on our bed, bathroom decorated with flowers, basket of fruit and wine fridge stocked up
We met some lovely people from all over the uk and made some good friends hopefully we may meet up again one day.
I could go on for ever. The whole experience was fantastic we could of not asked for any better would love to and will be going back here!! .

Firstly I would like to say this was the first time travelling to Turkey and what a lovely experience it was. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean with well kept gardens around the complex. Our room had a fantastic sea view and spacious with all the normal mod cons. The fridge was topped up daily with Tuborg Gold Lager, Pepsi, orange, lemonade, natural and sparkling water. Snacks such as peanuts and chocolate bars are also supplied daily. I thought this was a lovely touch and went down very well.

Now in regards to Germans getting better service, well I can honestly say this is a complete load of rubbish, myself and husband never felt this at all and thought the service was very good and never experienced what some reviewers have stated. Yes many Germans stay at this hotel but so what, I really cannot see why this seems to be a problem, everyone was enjoying themselves and from what I saw being treated equally well by the staff.

I am quite a fussy eater and normally struggle in the buffet restaurants, to be honest I thought the food was very good and quality of meat used in the dishes was the best I have experienced at an all-inclusive hotel, the lamb especially was superb. Al a carte restaurants are also very good, you can book for the whole week at the customer services desk near reception and visit each restaurant once per week, Turkish (fantastic), Cuban (very good) and the seafood restaurant is also good.

The hotel has a lovely pool, good modern gym, spa area with indoor pool and jacuzzi. We opted for the beach every day which had plenty of sun beds available and where comfortable. There are drink dispensers on the beach to help yourself and changing cubicles and separate toilets should they be needed, which also where pet clean.

We did not really use the entertainment much, as happier to have a later meal and have a few drinks, so cannot comment really on the lack of entertainment. We did go to Mama Mia and whilst they did not sing live the dancing was good. There seemed to be lots of activity choice in the daytime if you wanted it, however we where happy to rest and read, sunbathe, etc.

We never experienced anything being stolen but in fairness did not use the lockers.

Overall we had a great holiday and I would definately go back and have also recommended to family and friends.

Room Tip: We paid for a sea view room, very happy with the sets view we had.

Did not feel this hotel was a 5 * hotel. Most of the hotels in the area are classed as 5 * so not really sure how relavent the star rating is.
It is a nice, clean hotel with a super pool to actually swim in.Garden area nice too with some rather unusual, unconnected themed statues. Some fabulous pomegranete trees!
The staff were mixed in their attentiveness to guests and favoured the German visitors more I felt - which there was a lot off ! Good animation team for activities and Mama Mia show good but not much else for entertainment.
The sea views from the restaurants were a bit disappointing as they are set back quite a bit from the beach. The food itself was very repeatative and quite spicy- a lot of chicken and also lamb stew.I realise Turkish cooking is different but I struggled to really enjoy the evening selection -breakfast was much better but again there seemed no queueing system for fried eggs/omlettes and felt again the German guests just seemed to be preferred.
The room was nice but restricted times for air conditioning was annoying and the room became stuffy during the night and also after 8 am. Bed very firm and pillows could have been better although the option is there to rent other pillows.
We went to Side and also visited the waterfall by dolimus which was much more exciting than a proper excursion and gave us quality time in these areas- both worth a visit.
All in all the holiday was good value for money but not really anything special and not sure why guests return year on year - better food, drink and attention on the Greek islands.

Room Tip: Pay extra for superior sea view room.

Being part of the three hotel Alba Collective, the Royal is the groups adults only offering.

Location is great for beach lovers but very limited places to go in the evening. Therefore it places a lot of pressure on the hotels to come up with the goods and, despite earlier good reports on TA, I was not impressed and I got the impression the entertainment budget had been cut. The animation team was light weight

The rooms are a good size and kept clean, as is the whole hotel,
The mini bar is always kept well stocked

Being all-inclusive and attracting more German guests than any other nationality the food although plentiful was not always to my personal taste and the menu rather repertisicious.

This hotel is very good and I personally had a good time during my 2 week stay but I can't help feeling that it has taken a step backwards and needs to address the issues of entertainment and rotate rather than repeat the food in the main restaurant to get back on song.

Dear Guest,

thank you very much for your review about our hotel.

We are happy to hear that you mostly enjoyed your holiday.

Anyway we would like to explain some things.

Since our hotel is only for adults and most of them want to relax, we offer soft entertainment during the day. But we still have the same activities like the years before.

Because we have more than over 100 different dishes every night, it can happen that some appear a few times a week (salad, vegetables). We also offer three different A la Carte Restaurants with many different dishes that you can not find in the Main Restaurant.

We do not prefer a special Nationality. We treat every guest in the same way.
We want every guest to be happy and satisfied with our services.
It makes no difference for us, from where the guests are comming from!

We wish you a nice winter time and send many greetings from Turkey
