THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL. I WOULDN'T EVEN RATE IT. DONT GO THERE IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY. Arrived late at night as our transfer was diabolical. Noone in reception spoke english. We were taken to a room which stank of damp. We coudn't stay in it ! We looked at 6 more rooms until we found one which was best of a bad bunch. We were promosed an upgrade the next day. Went to reception nest day and no one could speak english... we never got our upgrade. The ceiling of our room was falling in and it was filthy. Bathroom disgusting and smelly no bath just an old shower with a sink falling off the wall. Food disgusting. Drink disgusting unless purchased. Miles from Bodrum we tried to find where to get a bus into toen but noone spoke english. When we eventually found where to get the bus, which turned out to be a bus run by the hotel we not only had to pay for it but were dropped in the middle of nowhere and had to back at the same place by 2pm or they would go without us. It was the only bus and a cab was very expensive. We foound the staff rude and unhelpful. The spa stank of damp. The night club was a dump full of the waiters that worked at the hotel rubbish noisy music. This is very loud if in a room in the main building. There was a lot of Rissian people who we found unfriendly and rude.
When we complained we spent and hour with the manager of the hotel who apologised and offered us a free week to go back as he was planning improvements. IT NEVER HAPPENED.. I dont think I would go back anyway the that hell hole. WE HATED IT. IT IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN. AGAIN I SAY DONT GO THERE

Room Tip: the room are filthy and stink dont go there thats the best tip I can give you

I'll start with my good points of why I liked this hotel.
1. Beautiful to look at.
2. Amazing views.
3. Nice location for a quiet village.
4. The lower staff (bar men and maids) were friendly and worked hard.
5. Water sports and activities.
6. The outside and inside the main building are kept very clean.

Now with the reasons I shall not return to this hotel starting with the small...
1. The reception staff suck, they are not helpful, they are ignorant and they are born liars!
2. The bell boy took us to our room but explained very little about anything and wouldn't leave the room without a tip.
3. The rooms are dated, smelly and small.
4. The shower water is dirty - tastes like sea water.
5. The drain in the bath was slow draining, so slow that the bath would fill while you were showering.
6. The resort is trip hazard city, there are block pavings and lumps sticking up every where.
7. The "all inclusive bar" is stocked with little more than cheap spirits and only beer.
8. There are no seats and tables around the bar to have a drink at and admire the view.
9. The pool waters have no heating system and are freezing... And I mean...freezing!
10. The resort is swarmed by ignorant, arrogant, pushy shovey, Russians!
11. The Russians are treat a lot better in this resort than the English although the English are very pilot.
12. The evening entertainment is pathetic! It consists of one guy talking crap and making stupid noises to try make people laugh and it is the same every night!
13. The disco echos through the whole main building so if you want an early night... No chance!
14. The hotel transfers from the hotel to bodrum charges 17 TL and you only get 3 hours there. Up the road the bus is 2 TL and you can go as long as you want because buses run every 15 mins.
15. The hotel shop completely robs you blind!... Everything in there is charged at almost double a normal shop price.
16. The beds are rock rock rock rock....Hard!

Now these points... My terrible points! The dreaded Resteraunts!
1. You have to get there early to be able to get a table.
2. There is no queuing system what so ever!
3. The food is served cold or mildly warm!
4. You have a choice of maybe 3 dishes.
5. The food is either tasteless or very salty! (which is properly to drain out the bad taste).
6. The breakfast only has boiled eggs! Bread and dodgy omelettes or cheap cereal! You can only have black tea or black coffee as there is no milk!
7. The lunch is the previous nights left overs and pasta or plain noodles.

Now about how clean/ safe the food is... Well me and my partner spent 2 weeks here and the first week I got lucky then Bang! All of a sudden... Chronic diarrehea, god awful stomach cramps, vomiting and sleepless nights for 5 days! The hotel doctor is useless, sits around smoking or sleeping all day! Not even sure if hes a real doctor! He just tells you to go to hospital! Luckily my girlfriend had met a couple who went to town with her to find the local pharmacy to aid me! After I had recooperated for the last 2 days I had spoke to some entertainers who have worked there for 3 years and they said they would NEVER eat at the hotel. I had also spoke to a bars manager who worked there and he said not to eat there and that he would never, he told me this because he was leaving after the hotel closes for the season. Me and my partner had spoke to several English couples/families and they had all been ill from the food at some point in their stay!

Finally, when we had purchased this holiday we had paid for a club room (separate to main building, quieter) with a sea view, but when we checked in the 'lieing receptionist' told us our room had been upgraded to a better room in the main building so we were delighted. When we got to the room it was awful, small, had no balcony and the "sea view" was a "tree view" - nothing but trunk! So we tried it for the first night ad because of travelling, had slept like babies!... But the second night we had realised we were right above the hotel disco which blared music till 2:30 a.m! So we went to change room the next day and the guy on the reception said they had no other room. We were gutted and worried to put up with it for 2 weeks but we tried to sleep the next night but couldn't because of the music so argued ourselves to sleep! This time we had had enough ad took our receipt to show we had pad for a club..so this time he moved me to the "only available room" which was exactly the same but away from the disco and the same crappy, tree view. This time we weren't bothered just as long as we could sleep but the point is we got miss sold a room!

Overall, I would like to highly recommend that you DON'T book this hotel if you want to stay healthy!

Room Tip: There is no tip to picking the right room as you will not get the same room you booked anyway!

This is the second time I've been to this hotel but if I'd been guided by previous reviews I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole. It's not 5 star by UK standards but this is Turkey and it is still a very good standard. The resort is large with several pools with pool bars to relax by. There's a magnificent large decking area with a huge roped off swimming area, the water is clear and full of interesting little fish which makes snorkelling great. The food is plentiful all day and although it doesn't compare with cruises, the Carribean or even Spain, I say again, this is Turkey and all inclusive Turkey is not the same anywhere you got but then again neither is the price you pay and you still have plenty scope to go eat out now and again and still be up £'s wise.

The hotel does have 3 a la carte restaurants which you can book for the extra fee of 6 euros each plus any drinks you have. We booked the Italian and were treated to a luscious 5 course meal which we washed down with a bottle of water for 1.5 euros in total costing us 13.5 euros, only a GB tenner for both of us. Well worth it and on a lovely little terraced setting overlooking the sea with only about 12 other people there.

Our room was large and clean, can't say it was immaculate but there was no way it was ever dirty or neglected and having travelled extensively, cruised and been all over, I was more than happy with the standard.

In short you get what you pay for folks. If you want 5 star luxury then book a cruise and pay the price, if you want a nice chill out holiday in the sun at reasonable cost and are willing to overlook some little imperfections then book somewhere like this. There are a lot of Russians but we found the staff sought out the Brits and fussed over them because they were polite by contrast.

Room Tip: Tips:- If you have walking difficulties ask for a room in the main hotel block as the outside rooms...

Nice place, nice staff, great location - nice pool and the marina it looks onto is ace. Excellent watersports are offered also and reasonably priced.

Well recommended and the mattreses they have out on the decking are lovely as is the Al La Carte restaurant and the Tea and Cake they do in the afternoons.

Room Tip: sea view is ace

This hotel was about as far away from being a 5 star as any hotel I have ever been to.
The rooms were filthy.
They made up the rooms one day out of two.
Our first night we were put in rooms that were behind the disco that were not only loud but smelled of uncleaned toilets.
The staff did not speak French or English.
Most of the guests were from Russia , Iran and Kasakisitan.
It was so called a ALL INCLUSIVE yet they tried to squeeze money from you any way they could.
The food at the buffet was bad and repetitive.
There were no room service menus as the only thing they would serve in your room for a small fortune was cold sandwiches.

ALL in ALL a huge rip off with bad management .
Took all the fun and beauty away from Bodrum.
This hotel is for Turkey the equivelent of MIDNIGHT EXPRESS for Turkish hotels .

Room Tip: Do not waste your money or time in this place. There are many nice hotels in Bodrum.

After reading reviews for the last 2 months and the fact i had already booked i has dreading the holiday. I have to say after booking me in the first night in wrong room the entire holiday was fantastic. i was moved first thing in the morning with no fuss to a beautiful room by one of the ladies at reception. I have to fully agree i did have a few run ins with the reception staff as they are miserable and could do with completing a course on customer relations and maybe place a few more staff whom can speak better Englisg. The entire holiday was swormed by german and russians whom i have to say are extremely rude although when challenged they do stop there behaviours of pushing you out the way and cruel to the resident cats. The animation team i feel were quite good especially the fire show and walking on glass shows these must not be missed. Food is plentiful always lots to eat and we found the waiters went out of there way to help so no concerns for us. the hotel complex is kept very clean and the slide areas are safe with an attendent there daily to watch the children. over all excillent holiday and unsure what people expect from this hotel, only a few minor tweaks and is would be incredable. Drinks do stop at 11pm so be aware and the resident guy who takes photos was incredable when we had some shots done i ended up buying the entire album as all beautiful.

After reading some of the reviews I find some of them very harsh and nip picking, however some are very valid,

Most staff at the hotel only seem to care and want to help you if you give them a tip, but every time you approach them after they annoyingly expect another tip.

The hotel itself is lovely and has potential to be a very good 5star,

there are around 6-7 pools (although people got up early to reserve their sun loungers we never had a problem with getting ourselves a couple whatever time of day), although they advertis 3 slides only 2 were working but the pools overal wer good.

3 restaurants (Turkish, fish and Italian) these are extra but for 2adults and 3 kids it cost us £20, although the food was not all to our taste, the atmosphere, ambience and view was really enjoyable.

Drinks are only available till 11pm but would advise getting yourselves a few bottles of water to put in the fidge in your room. The main bar near the beach, pool and entertainment was the best place to get drinks as fizzy and alcoholic weren't as watered down as the other bars.

The rooms really let it down, the rooms are only suitable for groups of 4, we had to have a single bed squashed into the master bedroom, the other room did not have any air con which made it almost unbearable for the kids to sleep in, altho we had air con in our room is contantly leaked all nite, the rooms weren't really that clean and room service was only a matter of quickly fixin the bed sheets and re folding our used towels, when we tipped the cleaner £5 he gave us clean sheets, towels, and a quick sweep of the room but the next day he left us a note asking for another tip, which we couldn't believe!! The final complaint of the room was the locking system on main door and balcony, we travelled with 3 children under 10 and both doors was easily opened by simply pulling down the handle which made it far to easy for them to get out without us knowing.

The evening dinner was ok even if it was a bit samely, but the food by the beach snack bar for lunch was lovely, the other snack bars wer all the same, burgers, chips and spaghetti bolognese. We sometimes struggled with breakfast and sometimes had to settle with just toast with butter, however one morning they had 2 chefs freshly cooking omelettes which were really nice!

The beach bit was lovely, th kids had great fun feedin the fish on the dock and snorkelling, there was also diving, canoe, jet ski, and a few others available for a little extra but well worth it, but would strongly recommend the diving especially to beginners.

Lastly the evening entertainment was for us really good, the kids had fun gettin up, dancing and singing however did go on till 10pm and then adult entertainment was on straight after when kids we getting restless, but we enjoyed ourselves and felt it was a really good end to our day.
