This coffee shop has an interesting menu that offers a change of pace from the "soda" offerings of rice, beans & empanadas. They had panninis with a lot of choices for fillings. The bread was soft and buttery. The side salad was really tasty. You MUST order dessert (we had the chocolate cheesecake) and coffee. The coffee is prepared at your table "tico-style" and it is a a treat to watch. Not to mention, really delicious! The prices are higher than you would pay at a "soda" but it is nice to get away from the "comida tipica" and relax in the eclectic but elegant surroundings.
