We chose this from the Internet. The location of the villa is in the centre of a modern estate, however it is very quiet. The villa is at the end of a quiet cul de sac on the outskirts of the town. It is around 3 miles to the nearest beach and half a mile from the village centre which has a boulangerie, pharmacy, church, restaurants, butchers and fruit and veg shop. There is a market twice a week in high season. The villa was very clean and spacious. The internal kitchen (there is an outdoor barbecue area too) is very small and we found the oven difficult to operate as the display appeared faulty. There is a covered outside small pool which the kids loved, however it is within close proximity to other properties and one of the neighbours asked us to keep the noise down. With all rooms being on the ground floor it was quite hot at night unless the patio doors in each room were kept open. The property is well equipped with washing machine dryer and dishwasher.
We were kept waiting for over a hour on our arrival as we had been given the wrong contact details for the caretaker by the agent. This was compounded that the caretaker then had sent a text message to the wrong number by transposing two of the digits. Frustrating and no apology received from the agent.
we stayed here for just over a week at Easter, and the whole holiday was amazing, in our group were 4 adults and 2 children, when we arrived at the villa , set in a new build estate, we were not disappointed, walking into the villa it felt modern, open and very bright the children had great delight in finding there were bunkbeds and that they had a choice of 2 bedrooms to sleep in, the layout of the bedrooms is great for two families sharing, one double and bathroom can be shut off to make private sleeping area, the other double is the same, but has one of the "kids" bedrooms in the same area.
There is plenty of dining areas inside, and the most loved part inside villa is that all round the back of the villa the patio doors open up all the way round to make a wonderful living indoors out doors!
The out side benefits from superb landscaped gardens, and different seating and dining areas to follow the sun round the villa all day, ending up next to the BBQ and pool area, even at the beginning of April we had fantastic weather, we did BBQ most nights, and the pool was used every day, be warned we were the first to rent this season and the pool was cold, but I'm sure it will heat up as the season goes on.
The villa is set in a very quiet area, and we didn't see the neighbours at all, if there were any.
You can walk into the local town, market day not to be missed on Friday morning, pick up the street food paella for lunch, or enjoy a typical french meal in the local restaurant.
Go to the local beach, water cold, but beautiful sandy shores to walk along and relax with a nice picnic.
The down side if any ( and only a small thing) no information pack, we had to find out how to use everything in the house by chance, pool heating included, but the agents reacted quickly to our quires, would have been nice to have info on what there was around the area to see and do, although we did just drive around and explore, when we stopped sunbathing in the glorious weather!!
We will be going back!
