What a great place to stay, wish we could have stayed longer. From when you arrive Cheryl and Ian's friendliness is apparent. Their Dream B&B a reality with all the little extras. We had Dinner there to Celebrate, and a Night Cap with the Owners. Breakfast a must on the Balcony, with Homemade Jams. Must Return when we are in the area......

Room Tip: All rooms are Perfect.....

My husband surprised me with a night at Allara Homestead B & B for our 39th Wedding Anniversary, it being on Good Friday I was surprised at how accommodating Cheryl was to our needs. She is an amazing hostess who is absolutely devoted to her guests, nothing is to much trouble. Our room Vintage Rose was beautiful and well equipped with everything you could require. A most romantic anniversary, we will no doubt stay there again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful night away Cheryl.

We needed accommodation in or around Montville for a wedding we were attending over Easter. Most accommodation was booked out but we were lucky enough to find a room at this B & B at Flaxton, just 3k from Montville. What a lucky find, we were pleasantly surprised when we met Cheryl, a lovely friendly host who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. As one of the other reviewers said, it was raining when we arrived and Cheryl offered for us to take a lovely big umbrella to the wedding which was in a park, just in case we needed it. Luckily the rain stayed away during the ceremony. Back to Allara, we stayed in the Vintage Rose room which had a welcome sign above the mirror with our names on it, the room was beautifully decorated, very simple & nice bathroom, private balcony with a pretty view over the lake. The room was lovely and clean and there was a treat of cup cakes to have with a cup of tea or coffee. Nice touch! The breakfast was simply delicious and by the time we left we felt we had known Cheryl for a long time. We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience in Allara homestead last month. I was impressed by all the photos showed online when I tried to search some places to stay in Sunny coast. I decided to go there as soon as I saw those amazing pics online. iIt didnt let me down when I finally got there. it is just as beautiful as the photos.
We got there around 4pm, the rain was very heavy. Cheryl got her big smile on and showed us both "vintage rose" and "vintage views". and she kindly let us choose the room to stay since they are all available at the time, we booked "vintage views" but the rain made the deck quite wet, so she suggested us to stay at "vintage rose" so that we can have a cup of tea on the deck without getting showered. How nice is she! She even put her umbrella at the door so we could use when we were out for dinner. In the morning, we had the most fancy breaky ever on the deck. Great view, Great food and Great talk with her. Love the way she treated us like old friends. We definitely had a relaxing getaway. thank you very much

We wanted a hinterland get away and what a lucky find, photos on the internet, the Allara B & B was, it made our stay really enjoyable. It was private and set in a beautiful location. Our room, the boatshed, was so well done, top notch luxury, with everything we could want. Lovely linen, special little touches, great outlook, quiet, spacious. We felt very welcome, Cheryl could not have done anything else to insure our stay was terrific. The breakfasts (we stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer) were fantastic, and Cheryl pointed us in the right direction for dinner. To enjoy a B & B this much means we really want to return.

What can I say, what a lovely way to advertise Allara Homestead with you heading "Lucky Find"
We felt that Allara was a lucky find for us also when purchasing the property to convert to our B&B. Its location and peace and quiet is just what we wanted for our guests relaxing stay. We enjoyed pampering you while staying with us.

My wife and I were in desperate need of a break and looking on the internet saw a photo of a very attractive B and B. So took the plunge and booked a couple of days including St Valentine's Day. A great decision. What a beautiful piece of Australia to be in and what a friendly welcome we got from Cheryl. She provided some great breakfasts with homemade breads and jams. The rooms are clean and tidy and very well appointed with modern fittings and all decorated to a fine standard. So the weather wasn't the best so hope, ( no will), be back when the sun comes out again.

We usually enjoy variety, but Allara and the hosts Chez and Ian means that I must break my policy, and continue to return over and over. Fantastic fun with other guests, playing cards (with a twist, so competitive) it was like visiting good friends. Lovely breakfast as usual, forget lunch, great rooms alround just a top place
