After the 2/ 2 and a half hour travel, we finally got to the hotel and were greeted by the bell boy so we didn't have to lug our luggage around any more, which was great. The staff who greeted my family and I at the lobby were so helpful and nice. Our room had an amazing view! And the sunset every night was stunning. The food, I thought, was really nice. There was so much choice, and every night I had something different. Also, we tried 3 of the Al-a carts. The Chinese, the Mediterranean and the Teppanyaki. The food in the Teppanyak was absolutely amazing! And the others were nice too. The drinks were lovely, but in some places were a bit to strong. Lastly, the entertainment staff were amazing! As my family and another family we got talking to, were the only ones from England, as it is mainly Russians and Germans, they did try and cater for us as much as possible.

However, there was 2 downfalls. One, was the pools were freezing so you couldn't really go in them unless you wanted a cold, but there was an indoor which was heated, so I used that instead. Although, the slide water wasn't that bad, and it was great for children and even teens, as I am 17 and enjoyed going on it. And the second was the beach. It was awful. We stayed here 10 minutes and then went back to the pool, as there was all kinds of insects flying and crawling all over us.

Wouldnt stay in this hotel again, as it is to far out. But I would try another Delphin hotel.

Room Tip: Me and my family stayed in room 3121, which had an amazing view of the sea and one of the pools!

the most outstanding point that here should be mentioned and i think make a hotel comfortable is it's staff. The staff in delux hotel was really kind and their behavior make you feel that they consider everything and care about you. they are all well-trained and all the time they are working in every session of the hotel.cause of that the hotel looks very neat and alive.I was there for 2 nights and i went to other hotels for the rest of my travells ,although the 2 others have bigger areas but totally I prefer this hotel because I feel more comfortable than others.
thanks to all..

The good:

- Good beach
- Food almost always available
- Fast internet

The Bad:

- Food is not condimented, quite plain taste
- The bed is not very comfortable
- Boring activities in the evenings
- Nothing outside the hotel
- No internet on the beach

The Ugly:

- A la carte restaurants are just a nightmare, pretty much no choice of food and the food is not even close to the real cuisine.
- English speaking personnel is almost missing

After spending 2 1/2 hours on a transfer coach ,courtesy of A to B transfers we finally arrived at the Delphin Deluxe at 1am! We did not receive a very warm welcome, we were not offered a drink or any food after our long journey, instead we were checked in and briefly given some hotel information. We were told that someone would take our luggage to our room but there was no one about so we decided to take it ourselves. On arrival to our room it was clean but the rooms are in desperate need of updating (we since found out that this is planned for 2014). We found a menu and ordered some room service, this came quickly and the food was very nice. Room service available from midnight until 0600. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom again was in need of updating but was clean. There is a small hairdryer and a small selection extras, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste and cotton wool and buds.

Food- The buffet has a wide selection of food for breakfast there are omelette stations, pancake stations, delicious breads the list is endless. For lunch there are many places you can get food, the indoor buffet, outdoor cafes, snack bars serving hotdogs and kebabs. there is never a shortage of food. In the evening there is a choice of the buffet or you can book an a La Carte restaurant from the delphin shop or a kiosk near reception. There is a Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean ,Turkish, Japanese or fish. We tried the Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean . The food was delicious and the staff in these restaurants were friendly ad helpful and worked hard. There is food available 24 hours a day! There is a little café in the lobby which do small cakes and open sandwiches perfect for some afternoon tea!

Drinks- The selection of drinks is poor, they do some cocktails but not many. The mojito is really good though. We ordered Baileys one evening but when it came it was not Baileys and it tasted so unpleasant that we left it. We asked on two occasions for a Delphin Tea from the menu but were told No and offered a Delphin Coffee, not sure why we couldn't have it! In the lobby there is a table offering wine, a lemon cooler drink with small cakes, biscuits and lovely Turkish delight, this is always available and is self service.

Pool- on arrival you are given a towel card and you obtain a beach towel. There are a number of pools, quiet pool, family pool and a small secluded pool with a small pool with slides for young children. We spent most of our time at the quiet pool . There are plenty of sun lounges so no need to go reserving with your towel (you are not allowed to do this before 0830 anyway) There is a drinks trolley service which goes around the pool side serving all kinds of drinks. There is also someone who comes round and cleans your sunglasses! The beach is sand and pebbles and is always busy. There are plenty of pools and there is an indoor pool and two small Jacuzzi pools but they are often full of children and people diving in, as my husband had to stop having his morning swim in there due to this. There is a aqua park with a giant water slide, this is a great place for families, plenty to do.

Entertainment- The evening entertainment isn't great, there is an amphitheatre but there was only three good shows on the week we were there one with Chinese acrobats, some street dancing / roller blading lads and Brazilian dancers, these were good but the nights in between the entertainment team throw a show together which in our opinion wasn't very good and most of it wasn't in English so we didn't know what was going on! There is a singer in the lobby bar which was good but after a couple of days you realise they are doing the same songs! So I would recommend taking something to do in the evening . There is a bowling alley and a games room but I think these have an extra charge. There is a cinema but we couldn't find it and we asked at reception and they just showed us the map!!

Staff- The staff on the whole are very pleasant especially the tennis coach and Erkan at the towel station. They are pleasant and helpful, a few speak English.

Facilities- There is a spa with all kinds of treatments available. We were given a list but it didn't include prices so I do not know how much these cost. There are excursions you can book but we didn't do this but I think most were reasonably priced.

There is a lot of German and Russian visitors and politeness and manners are not high on the agenda and they will push you out of the way, not great for us Brits who like an orderly queue!! But you have to try to ignore this and just enjoy your holiday. Having been to Gloria Serenity in Belek and had two wonderful holidays I was worried I would not enjoy Delphin, if money was no object I would choose Gloria every time but Delphin was very good for the price, £500 cheaper than Gloria for a week. For the price an excellent weeks holiday.

Room Tip: Get a sea view room, quieter and away from the road!

Ive been in this hotel 20 days ago and i gonna mention everything honestly.i choose this hotel by reading the reviews, but it wasn't as good as i expect.food was amazing, staffs were polite and helpful, drink was average. The most important thing was furniture.furnitures were old dirty and ugly, not even close to a 5 star hotel.and the worst thing was disappearing of my iPad in the last day.i lost it in jewellery in the lobby and no one helped me to find it .security camera showed me interred the jewellery with my iPad and came out without it and no one went in after me till 1 hour but not only the clerk but also the hotel manager helped me . I had to go to airport so i hadn't enough time to call the police.
So beware thieves' around.

The friendly service you receive at this hotel makes it special. All of the waiters make an effort to smile and be attentive to the guests needs. The hotel is a resort based hotel with just about everything you would need for your holiday on hand. Even a weekly market just over the road each Friday for some retail therapy and to buy some bargains. We are a family of 4 and stayed in 1 room and this was adequate in size and there is a fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks which is re-filled daily. With 3 poolls each offering a different atmosphere and a private beach , you will find somewhere that suits your mood. There is usually music and games around the main pool, whereas there is a quiet pool where relaxation and peace is the aim. There was always sunbeds available whatever time of day you get out though you may need to hunt around if your a late riser. On the beach you can sit and watch the "Pirate" party ships go by and there are lots of watersports to hire if you fancy an adrenalin rush. The food at the hotel was fab with loads of choice and the quality was excellant. There are themed events and acts put on most evenings which are also fun, your on holiday so give it a go. If you get bored with the main restaurant there are 7 themed restaurants - we only tried the Chinese Restaurant and this was a nice change. The hotel has mainly German and Russian holidaymakers , but all nationalities are catered for with the waiters having flag badges on their shirts advising which languages they can speak. There were a lot of people in the hotel that have returned to the Delphin hotels year after year, and it is easy to appreciate why , with such good service and good variety of activities and fab food.

Room Tip: A sea view - though you dont go
