Thumbs up for superficial appearances. Service staff are friendly, but service is basic. The overwhelmingly Russian clientele seem to dampen staff spirits with their approach. The rooms are clean and pool is clean. Requests from housekeeping can take forever or may never happen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are pretty much the same. Food is good, but caters mostly to Russian palate. Things are pretty much child friendly and staff do go out of their way to be friendly toward children. The "Animation Team" are downright annoying. If you're coming to Turkey, I'd stick to a Western hotel chain with more dependable standards and service.

I went at this hotel with my friends,we didn't like it at all, when we arrived we found the rooms already used, the beds were used, the toilet was very dirty,i found cigarettes all over the room,in one word dirty. The next days when the made cleaned the rooms she never, not once cleaned the toilet or change the sheets,i had to tell her to do that, the beach is awful, they have no garden at the hotel. If you want to have fun don't go there,at one o'clock everything was closed, the disco, the bars, everything,if you wanted to stay more you had to go out of the hotel,i think i payed a lot of money for a very bad vacation.I went to Sera Club hotel in Antalya 2 years ago and it was great,i thought it would be here too,but i was wrong,Sera looks like a palace, vikingen looks like a 3* star hotel.I was very disappointed.

We did a lot of research prior to booking our "last minute" holiday and were pleased when we arrived as the hotel was exactly like the photos, very modern, large, clean and well equipped. We were told we were the first English people to stay at the hotel with most of its visitors being from Germany, Ukraine, Turkey and Russia and we were treated like VIP's! The Turkish people are lovely and seemed to love the English. We had a lovely large room with sea view, the safety deposit box in the room was free, the mini bar was not stocked when we arrived in our room in the early hours but was stocked full every day after and was all free. The staff work very very hard and were all so helpful and friendly. The entertainment team were lovely and really seemed to enjoy their work, my daughter loved the 2pm daily pool dance, the mini disco and nightly show & music which went on until around midnight . There were no bugs in sight, any food, plates, cups etc that were finished with were collected within minutes from everywhere, pool side tables, bar, restaurant etc. Food was good lots of lovely salads and breads, the desserts looked lovely but were not to my taste. The main dishes were different most nights. All guest are allowed to dine in one of the a la carte restaurant once during their stay, we did this by going to the a la carte restaurant area at 10.30 am and waiting in the queue to book a table for the next evening, it was about 25 minutes wait time and the "Asia" restaurant we were allocated was nice - although my husband was unable to join us as he was in bed with sickness & diarrhea! (which my daughter proceed to get a couple of days later) and myself on our return home - we must have picked up a bug or something, although we did see a couple of children who clearly had poorly tummies!! The pools and slides are lovely, every room in the hotel was full but the pools were still enjoyable and not full. We did have trouble finding a decent sunbed on the first day but the management soon sorted this out by removing any towels the people had placed to "reserve" beds! (we watched them out at 6am(!!) removing towels, very funny!! Vikingen Quality Resort & Spa is a lovely hotel just a shame we were poorly.

worst hotel i have ever seen. as i have been to many locations and hotels before objectively i can say this was the worst one
1-sea: it must be the worst and poluutes sea i have ever seen in mediteraen. the black layer can obviously seen in some parts of the beach and i thought that the workers have no chance not to see that mess. i beleive they reliese some part of their contaminations to the sea...
2- pool: pool is not clean either. yu can feel it. and can not even a part of chlorine which used in pools to provide it clean and healthy
3- food: worst food ever. yu can not find any thing to eat except pork meat. i asked them if they any meat else then pork meat and they answered no. i had many acnes after 2 days because of meal and refused to eat and eated out in alanya.
4-service: good to russian girls
5- overall: i never reccomend to waste yur money in this hotel. as they charge a good deal of money per night

We had a great time in the Vikingen Quality resort.
Everything was great; pools, delicious food, animations, sea views from rooms, nice people... and hotel is new and beautiful. ;-))
